Check Out Clarrissa Jackson-Lewis’ Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Clarrissa Jackson-Lewis.

Clarrissa Jackson-Lewis

Clarrissa, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
When I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes back in 2013, I knew it was time to make a lifestyle change that would benefit my future, but even then I didn’t think about the people around me that it would also impact.

I was already meal prepping because it helped me stay away from the unhealthy choices placed for convenience. I started taking pictures to encourage others and my following grew into customers dealing with the stress of making the right choices and staying consistent while making things taste good.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
With God everything is possible! Of course, the road to business, ownership, or independence is never easy.

We take losses as well as wins, but it’s up to our resilience to bounce and smile whenever times push us past our comfort zone.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a people person, a resource finder, a problem solver. My work starts early to achieve success daily.

My company is called Perfectly Portioned not just for meal prepping or catering qualities but to help those looking to find the resources that make their life Perfectly Portioned…..whether that is needing cleaning services for a baker for their wedding or a moving company, I am proud to have people around me that pour into me new ideas and they love great food and conversation.

What sets me apart from others is that want to stay local, get to know my clients personally, and help them find exactly what they need with people who think like me.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Finding a mentor is not hard in general you just have to make yourself approachable know your craft and of course have a vision for success.
