Ariel Aiyegunle

Hi Ariel, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I was born in Chicago IL, on June 15th, 1991 to a single mom have 3 siblings. My mom moved to Minnesota when I was really small I grew up in south Minneapolis at first we moved to Brooklyn Park when I was in the 2nd grade. Changing environments was difficult for me.

I found it hard to connect with other kids. Made fun a lot of the way I looked and spoke. But after trusting the process I made friends and adjusted to my new school, Neighborhood. My mom worked very hard to give me a great life. I learned a lot about ethics from her.

My dad was a big part of my teen years he taught me that no matter how hard something is keep trying until the thing you want to obtain is in your hands. I kept that till this day.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, I’ve overcome feeling like I wasn’t good enough for one reason or another. I’ve had to overcome imposter syndrome almost every time I would do an event. Fulfilled an order, etc.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My business was founded after being diagnosed with PCOS 5 years ago. I looked into other methods of healing my womb. After researching holistic modalities, I discovered this ancient I started to steam at home I felt better after my 2nd month of steaming my PCOS symptoms Reduced by 50%.

Changed my diet and started taking care of my womb. I’ve been PCOS-free for over 4 years now. I’ve been an herbalist for about 4 years learning about the properties of each herb their unique characteristics and ways you can use them for healing.

Yeyeo Queen Steam Was Born in August 2020. I want anyone dealing with this these terrible womb conditions to know how healing steaming, & caring for the womb is just as important as another part of the body. In addition to being a Yoni Steam Facilitator.

I am a doula and perinatal Educator. I have recently added HypnoBirthing Education. To my practice! I believe that when you are working with the womb that also includes the birthing process. Working with families who love and bond with their babies is my favorite part of being a birth worker. I teach my family that bonding isn’t exclusive to postnatal; it starts in the womb.

Each birthing person with learn about steaming during the labor process and in postpartum. As a gift for hiring me, they will receive a complimentary package of steaming herbs, a gift for the baby. Just to show them that I appreciate them.

The thing that all of the work started with being told my womb/body was broken, for me to see a positive ending instead of feeling like a failure is my biggest strength.

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the COVID-19 crisis?
Yes, I learned to take time for myself, to truly find myself my likes, and dislikes. It was time to just take a break from the hustle and bustle. I called it my exhale moment.
