Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Yegge. They and their team shared their story with us below:
So, how did Joe and Danielle start Style and Structure? Almost 10 years ago, Joe and his wife Karen were out on the Parade of Homes tour, where he ran into Danielle, who was working as the sales rep at a model home. She was working for a new construction builder, and not too long after meeting; Joe was brought onto the team as the custom home department builder. After working on custom homes together for a few years at that company, Danielle and Joe realized that they made a great team. Danielle comes from a background in flipping houses and real estate, while Joe has been building homes since high school. They decided to start their own business, and Style & Structure was formed. Their new company allowed them to have the freedom to take on new and exciting projects, meet new clients, and apply innovative creativity to all their builds. There are so many different aspects to building or renovating a home. Danielle and Joe have created a team that specializes in each part of the build, and they respect everyone’s roles in the company and do what they do best.
We love that everyone on our team is unique and has different backgrounds. We can come together and collaborate to make a great product. They have built gorgeous homes together; every home they have had on the Parade of Homes has won the prestigious Reggie Award. They have always dreamed of having a Dream Home on the Parade of Homes, which they had on the Spring Parade 2023, and also of being on the Artisan Home Tour, which we are gearing up to be in this June 2024.
Let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
Danielle and Joe faced a significant challenge in 2020 when they decided to start their own company and participate in the Parade of Homes. Due to the pandemic, the building industry was in disarray, and many builders could not complete their homes in time for the parade. However, with the help of their extensive network and 35 years of experience in the industry, they received support and encouragement from others who were eager to see them succeed. Despite the chaos, they finished their home on time and won an award. It was truly a remarkable achievement.
