Thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, how did you get started?
Hello! I’m Kristine, the founder of Reinvent Your Hustle and Refined Ritual. I’ve always had a passion for spirituality. Still, it wasn’t until I started my business that I truly understood the importance of self-awareness and how it impacts every area of our being. In 2019, I left the corporate world and started Reinvent Your Hustle. After putting my heart and soul into my work and getting laid off from a billion-dollar retailer, I found myself lost, my identity suddenly stripped, and asking questions like, “What just happened? What’s wrong with me,” only to realize how broken I had become. Through trauma and transition, I found meditation and my spiritual practices to be incredibly healing. A few months after losing my job, I went to an Angel Healer. Even with my skepticism coming from a traditional Lutheran background, there were a few connections to the spirit that I couldn’t shake, later realizing they were divine guidance stepping in and fully supporting my path.
I continued sessions with my Angel healer, and on my 3rd visit, I went into what I now know as theta state. Underneath my eyelids, I could see colors transitioning from black through the entire rainbow. Then, an image of mountains appeared with 3 peaks. At the time, I had no idea what it meant, but on my soul-searching mission, I had been asking my Angels if my entrepreneurial path, 3 months into my business, was really what I was supposed to be doing. Three months later, I was at a coffee shop telling a friend my story about what I had seen. I mentioned receiving an offer to return to work for my corporate company. It was my dream job.
After a few minutes, my friend turned to the left and pointed to the wall; she said, “Is that what you saw?” It was a mountain with three peaks. I was in shock. The final part of this story was about 2 months later. I found myself at a business conference in South Carolina; the speaker led a vision meditation and said, “Maybe those mountains were put there to show others they could be moved.” I completely broke down, crying with my hands to my face, realizing that this was my Soul path and that the Universe, God, and Source had a plan. From that point forward, meditation became a staple for me to reflect, ground my actions, and receive more clarity and inner guidance as I grew my business. As a service-based coach, I saw many clients struggling to balance their lives, businesses, and spiritual journeys.
Most clients I spoke with felt unfulfilled, always chasing and disconnected from their inner wisdom. They wanted clarity and abundance and to stop feeling the constant pain of indecision. I kept getting questions about what I was doing to stay grounded and keep going with certainty, and I began to share all the knowledge and tools I had been collecting over the past few years. Enter Refined Ritual. After giving birth to my daughter, I made Refined Ritual a reality and began curating our modern meditation boxes for entrepreneurs.
They became transformational for every entrepreneur who used the boxes for self-discovery, deepening their awareness, connecting to the source, and finally stopping chasing. These meditation boxes are more than just products; they help women and entrepreneurs reconnect to their soul paths, teaching them how to call more opportunities to them through consistent spiritual rituals. I am honored to support women entrepreneurs in their spiritual journey. I am excited to continue to hear how we have helped shape impact-driven entrepreneurs’ success and alignment.
It wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been relatively smooth so far?
Launching any product-based business has its challenges, and Refined Ritual has required me to develop a new skill set (marketing in the product world). Luckily, I already had a built-in client base that loved the idea and supported me, from curation to their many iterations. The boxes transitioned into subscription-based seasonal meditation boxes, working with the energy each transition brings, harnessing tools like astrology, mindfulness, spiritual principles, and Ayurvedic themes. The evolution brings with it opportunities for growth and exciting transformations for our subscribers; my mission is to get these boxes in the hands of every entrepreneur to bring more light, love, and alignment to their lives so we can raise the collective consciousness of the world and make a better world for our children to live in.
