Meet Steve Solkela of All over – Entertainer

Today we’d like to introduce you to Steve Solkela

Hi Steve, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m a Finnish farm boy from the Iron Range.
The Accordion and a love for music gave me purpose in life. Now I make my living traveling with my humor and songs. I can’t imagine a better life.
…and I’m not qualified to do anything else. 🤣

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My sob story is much too de-moralizing for a questionnaire. So I’ll keep it positive.
I seek no pity, nor credit for the abuse and poverty I’ve lived through.
Only a bright future loaded with laughter, friendship, and epic memories.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I play accordion while riding a Unicycle and have a 23 piece One man Band. I’m in a bunch of other bands, compose, and am a part of the Opera when I can be. I have a Youtube Channel too where I do some crazy stunts and music videos.
I’m known for my comedy and musical eccentricities.

What matters most to you? Why?
Time… as clique as that is.
As productive and creative as I’m required to be in my line of work. With constant deadlines and permanent pressure.
Nothing brings me more joy than meeting people after the show and sharing jokes, and the memories of the event.
I love to socialize with others who enjoy life as I do. It’s a short trip. Allow yourself to laugh, smile, and dance!!!
