Hi Lauren, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
MKDC started in 2013 as a group of passionate ambitious dancers and fans of Kpop music following the vision and lead of our producer. With years of dedication, oftentimes sleepless nights, and persistence we became a premier Kpop performance group that hosts events, competitions, performs both locally and abroad in South Korea, and offers dance classes for the next generations of Kpop performers to explore their passion for dance and love for Kpop music.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
We’ve had moments of both smooth sailing and rough waters. dance and social media are highly competitive environments with many worthy and talented artists working hard to make a name for themselves. shouldering this fact and pushing through it was difficult at times. With performing comes a normal amount of stress and sometimes the stress becomes heavy. Despite this, with each one of us so passionate and dedicated to growing as dancers and focused on making our performances and team the best they can possibly be, we can all rely on and trust one another to put our best foot forward each and every time we step on stage. The trust, care, and dedication to ourselves and one another is where we experience calm amidst any storms that come.

Something people might not know about us is how much we appreciate and focus on details in our choreography. Sometimes we will spend hours on one or two moves to fine-tune even the smallest of moments in our performance pieces. We are also incredibly grateful for our viewers and supporters for being with us all this time.
