Hi Patrick Scott , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Found my way to Minnesota through being a father, My ex was from here. She moved back to be close to her family and we had Children so I’ve moved to Minneapolis. At that time I Was working as a chef & Business owner. In nantucket, MA.
My cooking credentials were very strong I had two Michelin stars, so when I moved to Minneapolis, I Consulted on many restaurants and open a few of my own. I was always into the music industry working for organizations like Bill Graham presents, Universal concerts, And running music venues like 19 Broadway in Fairfax, California, A.R.O.. Space In Seattle., Producing my own festival like Fairfax World Music Fest,., Word Sound Power. I also work for many many festivals and management throughout the US and internationally.
Wanting to get out of the restaurant industry because of Covid, I’m losing so much money on my Restaurants I decided to take a leap into An industry that I believe is going to be Booming
The California sober movement!!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I believe that running a business there’s very few smooth roads especially when it’s just opening. One thing I always have learned is not to stress and learn how to pivot. The trichome lounges Business plan There’s always evolving as there’s not many people in the world that are doing our business model if any.
Since we’re the first of our kind in the Midwest and probably close to the first in the US there have been a few struggles along the way. . Licensing, Insurance, & Payment platforms.
We’ve been impressed with Trichome Lounge , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Trichome Lounge has 2 different businesses in one first we have a retail store That is an NA bottle store with a dispensary Focus on California sober movement. We also have a Yerba mate, kava, mocktail program & coffee shop.
The second part of the Trichome lounge is a members Event center with The high-end mocktail bar. The space holds movies, Theater, Music, Classes and seminars, Burlesque, Comedy, And just relaxing with like-minded individuals, We have a nice outdoor patio. What is the only places on Lake and Lyndale area that has its own parking , And soon to be 10,000 square-foot fenced in outdoor play area with gazebos, kava Tiki bar, Fire pits, And tons of yard games.
