Check Out Stephen Peltier’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephen Peltier

Hi Stephen, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
In 2016, I originally was just interested in discovering more about my health, so I began reading the book, “It Starts with Food” by Melissa Hartwig. I learned so much about immunology, physiology and how foods truly interact with our body and mind. After experiencing my body with just dietary changes, I knew I wanted more for myself. During this time, I was working as a medical interpreter for the limited-English speaking populations in the Twin Cities using Spanish and Chinese. As I was finishing school for interpretation and translation and searching for what I truly wanted in life, I discovered that there was a Chiropractic college in Minnesota – Northwestern Health Sciences University.
I recalled my history and interest I had with chiropractic while growing up and being active in gymnastics and diving. I interviewed the school, local chiropractors and other holistic health providers and made the decision to move forward with another round of schooling. (For third and final time lol…) The biggest influence was how much we got to learn about the human brain, the neuroscience behind it and how working with the spine is the gateway to this process.
I started my career in an automobile accident clinic, but I knew I was not in alignment, so I shifted to a mobile practice working for myself (traveling to people’s homes and businesses). The theme of, “I know I want more for myself.”, came up again. So, I started receiving care under a physical and energetic chiropractic technique called Network Spinal. I actually wanted to do this technique for 6 years, but due to fear of ridicule and doubt, I rejected and denied it. I started experiencing my body like never before. In fact, I felt so alive that I questioned whether or not I’ve been living my entire life. My chronic ailments faded, and vitality was now the main basis of my daily experience. I decided to dive in and take my first Network Spinal seminar in the fall of 2022.
I began renting space to practice at a metaphysical store, because it was one of the only ‘safe’ and accepting spaces for my technique. In addition, I knew that I did not know much about the metaphysical and the non-physical realities, so I surrounded myself in an ‘uncomfortable’ position to maximize my growth.
I ended up getting attuned to Reiki in June, 2024. I have used and practiced it everyday since. I thought I knew what Reiki was about, but I was wrong. The practice members that I have been working with have made progress that I have not witness before when working with an emphasis on the physical/medical.
I ended up creating my own technique called Spinal Reiki by combining Reiki and Network Spinal together. I also use neuroscience-based rehab and other self-help tools to support the sessions.
Now 4 years into practice, I have shifted my focus away from the just the physical components of human health and development and placed an emphasis on the energetic and spiritual. Creating a triad. By no means do I ignore the physical, diminish or minimize it, but it is only one part of the story and there are other components that need to be addressed.
The greatest part of what I am doing is that not only do the practice members receive healing, but this healing energy stays with them wherever they go and I teach them how to keep inducing it by themselves! My practice members do NOT need to be ‘energetic’, privy to the ‘metaphysical’ or ‘believe in it’ in order to gain the benefits.
Our nervous system is truly the master organ of our body and once you experience the power that it has and learn to produce the same effects by yourself, it will change your life for the better, forever.

The work done only expresses and amplifies the light that is already inside.

My main avenue for connection is through remote sessions/Video chat and pre-recorded video lessons. I love this because Reiki is universal (it is not bound by time and space), it can be done from anywhere and I teach you how to set up your environment to keep the practice going. I do home visits and group events as well (online and in-person).

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been smooth, but by shifting my perspective on all that has occurred allows me to learn and gain a higher perspective.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Music plays a huge role in my life. I grew up breakdancing and fell in love with Hip Hop. I combined these two with gymnastics to heighten my dancing.
I love to sing, write songs and freestyle rap. I am currently learning more about DJing, so that I can host my own music events.
My chiropractic practice truly is about embodying the authentic self. Music is one form of art that allows me and countless others to do the same.
Spinal Reiki is a focused way to embody the flow state. I use Spinal Reiki for myself during EDM concerts allowing my body to move the way it needs to and setting the scene for ecstatic dance.

I love to create and enjoy working with others.

My artist name is Jackasotarex. It is a combination of Jack, Minnesota and T-Rex.

I truly believe that the more I follow my true authentic path by embarking on love, excitement, joy and unconditional love as the daily foundation, then this sets the stage for everyone around me and for those with whom I am energetically connected to do the same.

Be myself + heal myself = the Universe follows suit

I love to work with artists. Especially for those in music – like singers and rappers. I work with artists using Spinal Reiki to guide the songwriting and creative process. Sometimes the artist just needs a conduit/additional creative mind to help find more efficient ways to express the story they want to tell. I am there for both parts.

Movement is directly tied to emotion. Spinal Reiki connects these two. The more an artist understands what their body is telling them and what needs to be expressed the easier it is to get it out in an artistic form.

How do you define success?
Enjoyment of life regardless of circumstance.
