Since the age of 4, I’ve had a passion for fashion. I spent countless hours playing dress-up, dreaming up new outfits, and discovering the joy of personal style. That early fascination with clothing and creativity only grew stronger over time. After gaining over 10 years of industry experience, I knew I wanted to use my skills to help people express themselves through what they wear.
This passion led to the launch of Jenni Baker Styling, where I help clients discover their unique style and feel amazing in their outfits. I offer personal styling, virtual lookbooks, and personal shopping services—all designed to fit each client’s lifestyle, body, and budget. Fashion is my way of making personal expression fun and accessible for everyone.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, as is often when starting a business. One of the early challenges was building a brand and finding my niche in a competitive industry. There’s always that initial hurdle of getting people to trust you with something as personal as their style, especially when starting without a long list of testimonials or clients.
Another challenge was navigating the logistics of offering virtual styling services. I knew I wanted to create something that my clients could access virtually, especially with the virtual lookbooks, but perfecting that process took time and trial-and-error. I had to figure out the right tools and methods to ensure that even from a distance, clients would feel just as supported as they would in person.

Luck has played an interesting role in both my life and business. I believe that while luck can open doors, it’s what you do with those opportunities that counts. I’ve had moments of good luck, like meeting the right people at the right time or stumbling upon unexpected opportunities that helped me grow Jenni Baker Styling. For example, early on, I connected with a few clients who loved their experience and referred me to others, which helped my business gain traction which I am thankful for.
