Meet Nira Fisher of Buffalo

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nira Fisher

Hi Nira, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m new to Minnesota. Almost coming on two years come January. Prior to that we lived in Los Angeles. That was 17 years in Los Angeles where I dedicated a good 10 of those years as a luxury wedding planner. I planned most of my events in California, but I occasionally would book international events or celebrity events.
I sprinkled about 7 years on and off in the floral industry bouncing as a freelancer or working for reputable floral studios.
My husband and I decided to leave LA after having our first baby. After her birth i decided to take time off to focus on family.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
haha no. Mostly bumpy. Mostly up and down and all around, but at least I can say it’s been an interesting ride. Never a dull moment. I’ve lived the highs of highs. Planning celebrity events with endless budgets to being gifted hotel stays in exotic locations. As a wedding planner, I lived a very “glitzy” lifestyle, but inside I was stressed and anxious. There was so much pressure on my shoulders for so long. Especially when I had a team of people to take care of. There is a lot of room for failure in any business, but the hospitality business is one where happiness= a good review. And if we are honest, that’s impossible to fulfill because joy is relative.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’ve since sold my event planning company and have robooted in my new state of Minnesota.
I’m a floral designer specializing in floral arrangements and specially curated gifts for home and garden. I’ll probably delve into the events world as well with my florals…but for now the world is my oyster, who knows! My new brand is called NIRA VIDA (after my name, and then the word “life” in spanish).
The NIRA VIDA aesthetic is described as luxe, Parisian inspired, relaxed and romantic. I aim for understated elegance, effortless beauty, and old world feels. Each flower bouquet is arranged with the intention of extracting genuine emotion for your special occasion or designer lifestyle. Serving Minneapolis and west of the Twin Cities. Based in Buffalo, Minnesota.

What does success mean to you?
Success is where you find peace wherever you are. Anxiety and stress should not follow you. Fear should not determine your next move. Desperation will put you in a spot where you will sacrifice your brand identity just for the sake of survival. That’s not peace.

Pricing:

  • My floral bouquets start at $50 for delievery
  • Delivery rates are based on distance from Buffalo, but I travel to an hour radius from there (including Minneapolis) for daily deliveries
