Check Out Emily Carriveau’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Emily Carriveau

Hi Emily, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I had never been on social media before. When my kids were finally old enough to get their first iPhones, they of course, jumped on social media, which pushed me to do the same. I suddenly got a glimpse of this magical world full of influencers and content. The thought of creating my own videos was so exciting that my brain would not shut off. I’ve been making content ever since.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
When I first started posting pictures and videos of myself I was so nervous. But that didn’t stop me from sharing all the things. People seemed to have a connection with me. Before long, I had my first viral video…. Followed by another and then another. Soon I had over 700,000 followers on TikTok and thousands of people watching my Instagram stories every single day. It is so important to me to stay the same authentic self I’ve always been. I show up every day with a goal of bringing joy and inspiration to everyone who sees my content. My following community means the world to me because without them, I would not have a platform.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
When I first started getting noticed on social media, I was a Stay at home mom sharing all the things that I loved. My content includes craft projects laced in glitter, scrapbooking, and lots of giftwrapping ideas all taking place in my art room. Organization around my home. Life with my chickens and my alpacas. And my life as a mom to three teenage boys. My platform is so unique because it covers every piece of me. I’m able to share all the things that I love and bring inspiration every single day. I am so grateful that I have figured out how to take my passions and make them into a career. A career that I love.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
I live in the same small town I was born and raised in. All of my chickens and alpacas were impulse buys. . I have never lived on a farm and I’m just here learning as I go. To say I am grateful for what social media has done for me is an understatement. And my online community has brought me more joy than they’ll ever know.
