Hi Jacob, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hello, I am Jacob L. Hollingsworth, Chief Executive Officer of JHN Finance. I’ve been here a few times so you may also recognize me as Chief Executive Officer of Jacob Hollingsworth Network Corporation. JHN Finance was founded in 2022 officially on record, but prior to that, I’d been running JHN Finance as a resource to those looking for assistance with FINRA exams at no cost. Since, JHN Finance has become an official brand of Jacob Hollingsworth Network Corporation providing financial tools and programs for financial professionals and future industry professionals. Additionally adding JHN Finance Insurance services in Life, Health and Accident.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No road is ever easy, and JHN Finance has been no exception to that rule. From not knowing exactly how this resource would be beneficial to others, and also all the regulations and tedious precautions you have to take when working in this particular industry, it’s been tough, for sure. This type of industry also comes with a vast amount of knowledge that you must obtain to provide service to people. You also have to have the image of “I know things” in this sort of business. You have to “look the part”. It takes a lot of practice, and there isn’t a lot of room for error. We often like to compare it to being a doctor. In a sense, you are. You have to be very precise, and you can’t make very many mistakes. If you make a mistake, you have to learn from it right away, and make sure it doesn’t happen again.
We’ve been impressed with JHN Finance, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
JHN Finance specializes in the insurance industry by providing Life, Health & Accident Insurance coverage first and foremost. The primary focus is providing a service that makes sure families are well equipped with the knowledge of the importance of having a plan for their future. So many Americans are aware of what insurance and retirement is, per say, but the nuances and transparency can sometimes be vague. And there’s a commitment to removing those grey areas with JHN Finance. What it means to have Supplemental Coverage, Medical Advantage Coverage, and the various types of life insurance coverages available.
In tandem, we want to make sure tools and resources are available for those who are looking to work in the financial industry on the other side of things by providing programs where we study particular financial industry licenses, and that includes life, health and accident insurance.
What makes you happy?
If I can be a part of putting a smile on someone’s face, and putting a family in a better position financial, major or miniature, that’s a joy that cannot be replaced. I’m so excited about this journey, and I want to simply impact as many lives as possible. Taking on that challenge is what makes me happy.
