Hi Dennis, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
The Haley Family founded C-Axis Inc. in 1997 with our first medical manufacturing facility built in the heart of the medical device alley, Minnesota. In 2004 several of C-Axis’s customers approached the Haley’s and expressed a need for manufacturing support in Puerto Rico for their medical devices. C-Axis stepped up to support their customers and built a state of the art facility in Caguas. Puerto Rico. Since 2004 the business has continued to grow by adding capabilities, capacity, and people. As a Medical Device Contract Manufacturer, C-Axis, Inc. has two world-class medical device manufacturing facilities to meet the specific needs of major medical original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) globally. Our Minnesota and Puerto Rico manufacturing locations are certified and operate to ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 13485:2016.
With the focus on the medical device industry on product development, C-AXIS added a state of the art prototype facility in 2022.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not always been a smooth road. Supply chain issues, skilled labor and COVID presented substantial issues.

C-axis is a family owned business that was established 27 years ago. C-axis is a full service contract manufacturer focused on prototype to production. We specialize in speed to market through iteration and innovation. We set ourselves apart by focusing on our relationships with customers and suppliers. C-axis quotes even the most difficult parts to compete against bigger players in the industry. We pride ourselves on the quality and delivery we are able to give our customers.
