Hi MONN, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey in filmmaking began in childhood with a deep passion for storytelling. From an early age, I was drawn to acting and performance, playing key roles in theater and immersing myself in the art of expression. As I grew, my interests expanded beyond the stage to the creative process behind the camera. I developed a strong appreciation for visual storytelling, where I could shape narratives and bring ideas to life. Today, my focus is on crafting compelling stories and translating visions into cinematic experiences, helping to elevate and realize the creative ideas of others.
A significant influence in my life has been my father, who has always been deeply involved in the world of acting. As both a working actor and an acting coach, he has dedicated his career to the craft, and his passion for performance has had a profound impact on me. His guidance and experience have played a crucial role in shaping my own journey as a storyteller and filmmaker.
I am currently exploring the art of cinematic storytelling as a cinematographer, focusing on the visual language that brings narratives to life. My goal is to interpret stories through imagery, using lighting, color, ambiance, and atmosphere as extensions of the narrative. By carefully crafting these elements, I strive to enhance every aspect of storytelling, creating a deeper emotional and visual impact.
A fun fact about me is that I genuinely believe everything I touch has the potential to turn into gold. This mindset reflects my confidence in my abilities and the untapped potential I have yet to fully explore. I’m driven, prepared, and ready to push my creative limits—every gear is in motion.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My biggest challenge has been establishing connections within the larger filmmaking industry. Before fully immersing myself in filmmaking. Now, as I navigate a new chapter in Minneapolis, my goal is to connect with like-minded creatives who share a passion for storytelling. More importantly, I seek to collaborate with individuals who can challenge and elevate each other’s potential, fostering growth through every interaction in the filmmaking process.

My greatest skill—and the one I’m most proud of—is my ability to shape light, a fundamental element in achieving a true cinematic look in every project I undertake. Beyond technical execution, I bring a distinct visual style to my cinematography, whether it’s a commercial video, a documentary, or a music video. No matter the subject, I strive to leave a signature touch, ensuring that each frame carries a unique essence of my creative vision.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
For me, every interaction is a story. Whether it’s casual conversations with friends or deep, intimate discussions, I naturally visualize them as scenes unfolding in a film.
