Hi Amy, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have been in the Beauty Industry for 27 years. As a licensed cosmetologist. I have had the opportunity to work in all areas of the field. Such as working behind the chair interacting with clients one on one. To education. I have worked with new employee hires, doing advanced training. I even spent some time working as a full time educator in a cosmetology school. As well as working in a medical spa performing advanced skin laser services.
I spent the last 15 years in South mpls. And I just moved my business to Apple Valley for a fresh new start, and to be closer to home. You can now find me at a small Aveda Salon. called B Salon
I am currently re building my business.
I look forward to this new adventure in my career, and all of the possibilities it comes with.
Something new I’ve added to my service menu. Is Reiki. I do 15 min reiki fresh up sessions that I do during the shampoo service.
This service can be added onto any service booked.
Reiki is an ancient Japanese energy healing practice that helps move energetic blocks, clears and balances your energy. Helping you feel more In tuned and release stress.
So feel good on the inside and out when you leave!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Every business has its obstacles.
I have taken so many business classes over the years. But why not add another class. To continue to learn and grow.
Its all about getting your name out there. To be seen for your natural talents and abilities.
So you can bring in the clients to support the business.

I love beauty. All beauty. We are all unique. And I love to help people bring out their own version of who they are.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
I’ve lived in the Twin Cities my whole life. I’ve always felt like I have everything here that I need.
