Check Out Luna Rey Hall’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Luna Rey Hall

Hi Luna Rey, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
i started seriously writing in community college and have since then written four books, with another forthcoming.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
i always want to quit— writing is lonely and hard: i feel like i can never truly translate what’s in my head to the page, i spend too much time in solitude, i spend so much time worrying about words, and i just want to be with loved ones but i know i have something to say and only i can say it, so i must.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
i am a poet and horror author— known for “loudest when startled” and “the patient routine.”

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
be kind, be helpful, be present. it’s not something i needed to learn, necessarily, but it’s something i need to be reminded of here and there.
