Echo Development Center is committed to Promoting the well-being of Under Privileged families and Individuals who are Marginalized and has fallen through the cracks through a Comprehensive range of Services, emphasizing Social, Economic, health, education, Substance abuse Recovery Support to foster a holistic approach to Recovery and Empowerment in Our Communities. Echo envisions a thriving community regardless of background, Lived empowered, healthy and dignified fueled by Supportive Services. Establish in 2015 by Arlisia Dockery Pryor and LaParis Pryor Echo Programs flourished into A empowered Summer Program In Collaboration With USDA, Serving free Lunches and Summer Camps with the Support Of Trinity Episcopal Church Allowing us to used the Church for Services as well as Partnering with The church to Serve unsheltered individuals with a meal Every Thursday. Echo Grew and in 2020 during COVID our boots hit the Ground where we
implemented a Senior Program to Help Seniors that was Sheltered in Place. # seniors building were serve by Echo Center Providing Food boxes and PPE Supplies and Hot meals to Our Elders, Youth No-bullying Programs and Serving meals under the Bridges to individuals that were homeless. With Commitment and perseverance Echo Became An Thriving Organization.
Founder Created Varies Of initiatives to Catered to the need of Community. In 2022 Serving The Homeless throughout the Chicago land area Rush University found Echo Working with No funding took Echo Under their wings and we became the first Regional Leadership Center in Kane County in Capacity Of Harm Reduction and Recovery Education and Inclusion. Starting from A grass root to Now apart Of IDHS. Grateful and Blessed.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One of struggles was funding and Providing adequate Services for individuals in Addiction and Mental Health also Support from Other Agencies.

Become Certified to Accommodate our Clients. During our now 3 Years of Serving in Recovery we have Accomplished so much training with Rush University and IDHS. Echo Development is known for The Place to go for help and A hot meal daily Monday thru Thursday 9:30 til 1:30pm, facilitators are on site to help with Care. Being A Community Oriented System Of Care we are Proud to be apart of Inclusion in Our Community. Serving now for 20 years And Advocate for Individuals with Disabilities and Seniors this is one of the best Accomplishment i feel The Hope group has made, Seeing Our Communities thrive. Accomplishments of being A Certified Advocate for Youth/Seniors, mental Health DSP and Now A Certified Support Specialist We are Proud to Serve.

Yes. Books and Training on Prevention Training’s Recovery Model Training, SUD Studies Mental Health integrate Care/ Co-Occuring Disorders treatments.
