Hi Rachel, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m Rachel, 26 years old wife + mama. I’m married to my love, Seth, and we have three handsome little boys, Arlo (3), Hank (2) and Coy (One Month). We are from a small town in Minnesota, living on a growing hobby farm. I can very much relate to the #MomLife Hustle. I am a go getter that loves doing all the things. I truly believe I am here for a reason, and I place all my worries in God’s hands. You are capable of so much more than you may think!
I started Blissful A Boutique in the basement of my home after I had my first born almost 4 years ago already. Ever since being a little girl, my biggest dreams were to 1. become a mom and 2. be a business owner. I wanted to do something for me while being home with Arlo on my leave. The boutique was very part time, and I only shipped orders as they came in. Shortly after, I then got pregnant with my second, so the boutique got pushed to the back burner while having two under two. Once I was ready, I started doing pop up events around my area and really started finding a love for selling. While working a full-time job, taking care of littles, we decided to open a store front in my hometown. We did all the work ourselves in the cracks of our time.. while my husband was just starting his own mechanic business too. It was BUSY to say the least. It was so much work in the time being, but now it was the best thing for our family. I love connecting with my customers in person and helping them find outfits that they love and feel good in!
Our store hours are limited, but that gives me the time I want with my babies at home, to raise them. We are open Thursday and Friday 10-6pm and Saturday 10-4pm so I get to be home with my boys most of the week which I love so much!
This truly has been the biggest blessing! Being a busy mom but still having something for ME outside of being a mama!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
smooth road? absolutely not –
1. mom guilt that comes with the business. I always give moms this advice: let your children be your reason, not your excuse.
2. lack of support from certain friends and family. So many people scoff and roll their eyes when you start a new business. You think certain people will support you, but they don’t.. and it can be very discouraging. Just know – YOUR PEOPLE WILL FIND YOU and strangers will support and become your biggest cheerleaders!
3. TIME! As a very busy mom of two, working a full-time job it was flustering trying to find time to really pour into the business. Even now with three, the business still doesn’t not have my full attention. i am always reminding myself that it’s not a bad thing to move at a slower pace.

Women’s boutique – we sell cute and trendy clothing and accessories. We have a store front in Wadena, MN right on main street across from Drastic Measures Brewing. Our hours are Thursday and Friday 10-6pm and Saturday 10-4pm. all other days are online. We ship all over the US!

As a mama of three, my biggest goal at Blissful A is to inspire women to be current in fashion and trends. I want women to feel confident in whatever they decide to wear. All my styles are hand-picked by me. I hope all the items you purchase from me make you feel so beautiful and confident!

What was your favorite childhood memory?
Running around our family farm – milking cows, jumping on hay bales, riding horses, etc. I love being outside, spending time with family and being around animals.
