We recently had the chance to connect with Jake Robbins and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Jake , thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What is a normal day like for you right now?
Every day I wake up at 445am to get a solid start on my day. I Begin by taking all of the pillows off of my bed, and neatly making it. I typically spend 2-4 hours on my computer after that doing admin work or anything I need to get done for the day. I then go for a walk for 30 minutes and do a 1-2 hour at home workout, pausing in-between sets and jamming to some music to get my mind and body right. I then bring my daughter to school most days, and go to work once I drop her off. Once i’m done working I go to the gym for an hour and pick my daughter up. After that I spend time with her and make dinner until she goes to bed. Once she goes to bed, I do another 1 hour at home workout and go back onto my computer to finish any admin work for the day.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Jake Robbins, i’m 32 years old from Coon Rapids, Minnesota. I own an artist consulting agency where I manage electronic music artists, a predominantly electronic music record label called High Caliber Records, and a Life Coaching Practice called A Better Life Living. Something that makes me special or unique is that I have spiritual gifts, I am an intuitive psychic and an alchemist. I studied life coaching at the Brave Thinking Institute.
Currently I am mainly focused on getting my coaching business up and running and finding clients to work with currently and building that, after going through what I have been through with my own personal struggles with obesity, addiction, and mental health problems and navigating through it by my self, I realized it is my inner calling to serve others and help them reach the same fulfillment in their lives.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
My earliest memory of feeling powerful was when I learned how to alchemize the darkness around me into power to fuel my self. I was probably around 10 years old, standing in the kitchen at my dads old house when it clicked in my head. Back then I didn’t really know what I was doing at the time, but it’s what kept me alive through out my struggles in life, with the help of God.
When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
It took a long time for me to crack open my shell, but it was around 27 years old when I finally started to be open with how I was feeling and really turned my life around after struggling nearly my whole life.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
10000%. I believe that spreading authenticity in this life is the most important aspect of the human experience and the world needs to get back to living in that state, and take off the mask.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace being near water, mainly while at my cabin in Detroit Lakes. When I’m on the lake fishing, it puts me in a state of peace that nothing else compares too.
