Meet Choolwe Luya of Ceneprinters

Today we’d like to introduce you to Choolwe Luya.

Hi Choolwe, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Growing up, I was always fascinated and curious about colors, designs and how clothing, logos, and branding combined could make people feel connected to something bigger. I have always believed that there is a story behind a clothe, a message behind an outfit and a memory behind a design on a fabric. With that single thought and a lot of determination is what started as a T-Shirt printing business for friends and small community events. At the core of Ceneprinters is a belief that T-shirt printing is not merely about ink on fabric—it’s about crafting identity, cultivating belonging, and capturing moments that matter to individuals and organizations. Today, we have evolved into a trusted creative partner for businesses, schools, churches, and charitable organizations across the state with a commitment to quality, creativity, and service, we continues to redefine what custom printing can achieve—not just as a product, but as a platform for Business and Community support.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Like many entrepreneurs, the Journey is never easy, every obstacle makes or breaks but on the positive side. I faced the challenge of building awareness and building traction, It’s easy for people to go online and order from big companies, so we had to show that working with a local business means faster turnaround, more attention to detail, and a personal touch.
Competition with big companies is always a motivation for creativity and innovation because we are tailoring solutions that builds real personal relationships with clients. Secondly, T-Shirt printing business changes so fast from new printing methods, fashion trends, and changes on customer taste and preferences. Staying updated and offering what people want while keeping costs manageable has been both challenging and rewarding. Finally, staying current with design trends and technology is an ongoing challenge. The industry moves fast, and customers expect fresh ideas. As an entrepreneur, I’ve had to constantly learn and adapt. It hasn’t always been easy, but it has been rewarding.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
