Community Highlights: Meet Anna Pexa of Anna Pexa, RN MSN Holistic nurse coach

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anna Pexa.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey really began when I was a little girl. I always loved helping others. My mom showed me the value of hard work. She was my rock and believed in me even when I did not always believe in myself. Looking back, I realize I have always had an entrepreneurial heart and mindset, even though I was not sure how to step into building something of my own.

Family has always been at the center of my life. I have been married for 23 years, and together my husband and I are raising three kids. In fact, I had my youngest while I was still in the nursing program. A reminder that God equips us to keep moving forward even when the load feels heavy. Those years taught me resilience, perseverance, and the importance of showing up for what matters most.

Fast forward to 2022, I finally took that leap. I hired a coach and stepped into creating my own coaching business. Before that, I had spent years selling products on social media, but deep down I knew I was meant to have a bigger impact. I wanted to help women not only build businesses online but also create lives they were proud of.

When I launched my business, I did find clients, but something still felt missing. I prayed about what direction God wanted me to take. In October of 2024, He placed it on my heart to host a 30-day Praying with Purpose challenge. It was a turning point. Women from all walks of life showed up—business owners, stay-at-home moms, and everyone in between. That is when I realized the deeper call on my life.

God showed me that my true purpose was to support moms who had lost themselves in motherhood. Moms stuck in survival mode who were ready to rediscover who they are, live a thriving life, and walk in their God-given purpose. In January 2025, I made a bold pivot and decided to weave my nursing background into my coaching practice. With over 13 ½ years as a nurse, a master’s degree in the science of nursing, and the honor of co-authoring two books where I wrote on mindset, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience into the work I do.

Now as a holistic nurse coach, I take women through a whole person approach, body, mind, and spirit. I help them find what is holding them back, guide them in releasing the survival mode patterns, and support them as they begin thriving with God at the center. Whether a woman wants to launch her own business or simply learn to love herself again, I am here to walk alongside her with faith leading the way.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. My biggest struggle has been my own mindset and the ways I would self-sabotage myself. Launching a business while working full time as a nurse and raising three kids brought a lot of challenges. There were days I questioned if I was capable or if I should just give up. I had to learn how to believe in myself, to truly trust God’s plan for me, and to create a schedule that worked for both my family and my calling.

The truth is, I am still learning every day. The struggles shaped me into the coach I am now. I walked through the doubt, late nights, and the stretching seasons, I can sit with other women in their struggles and show them that breakthrough is possible. If a girl raised by a single mom in a trailer park can rise above the obstacles and step into the life God was calling her to, then you can too.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Anna Pexa, RN MSN Holistic nurse coach?
My business is all about helping tired, overwhelmed Christian mommas move from survival mode into thriving mode by focusing on the whole person body, mind, and spirit with God at the center. As a holistic nurse coach with over 13 ½ years of nursing experience and a master’s degree in the science of nursing, I bring both nursing knowledge and a faith-fueled approach to transformation.

I specialize in mindset shifts, holistic wellness, and helping women rediscover their identity beyond the exhaustion of daily life. What I am known for is weaving faith into everything I do. Real healing and lasting transformation happen when we invite God into the process. My clients do not just walk away with a nutrition plan or a mindset tool; they step into a renewed sense of purpose and learn how to live a thriving life guided by faith.

What sets me apart is that I have walked this road myself. I know what it feels like to be stretched thin, to doubt yourself, and to wonder if there is more to life than just getting through the day. My coaching is not theory it is lived experience, grounded in my professional background as a nurse and my personal journey as a mom who has had to rebuild from the inside out.

I am most proud that my work reflects authenticity and hope. I co-authored two books and wrote on mindset, created faith-fueled challenges and programs. Built an entire coaching structure that focuses on both practical action steps and spiritual renewal. My heart is to show women that they are not stuck, that thriving is possible, and that they can live aligned with their God-given purpose.

What I want readers to know is this: my offerings are not just coaching sessions—they are an invitation into a new way of living. Whether it is my 1:1 faith-fueled coaching, a 4-week intensive, my group reset programs, or my longer transformation journeys, each one is designed to meet women where they are and help them step into the fullness of who they were created to be.

I am also thrilled to share that in June 2026 I will be hosting my first Rest and Reset Retreat. This retreat is designed to give women the space to step away from the noise of everyday life and experience deep renewal for body, mind, and spirit. With faith woven through every part of the experience, it will be a time of rest, healing, and reconnection a true reset for women who are ready to return home restored and realigned with their purpose.

If you are ready to take that next step, I invite you to book a free discovery call with me. This is a chance for us to connect, talk through where you are right now, and see if we are a good fit to walk this journey together. During our call, we will explore the best options to support you whether that is rediscovering your identity, rebuilding your health, or stepping into a new season of purpose.

What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is God, the impact I can make in other lives, and my family. God comes first because without Him I would not be where I am today. He guides my steps and gives me the courage to keep going when things feel hard. My heart is to show women what is possible when God is leading the way, reminding them that they are never stuck and that thriving is within reach when faith guides the journey. Family is my anchor. At the end of the day, the work I do, the risks I take, and the legacy I am building are all so my kids can see what is possible when you live with faith, purpose, and perseverance.
