Today we’d like to introduce you to Kevin Rojas.
Hi Kevin, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Los hermanos de Morelos, formed in March 2025,
We all had been playing music since we were younger. We shared a common dream of forming a band and performing live. The success of other groups, such as Alta Consigna, inspired us. They have achieved accomplishments, and we aspire to follow in their footsteps.
After a year of practice we decided to take a leap of faith and step out of our comfort zone. We embraced the challenge of performing at small events, slowly building our confidence and experience. Despite the difficulties we had starting the group. We are now confident and motivated about the new journey ahead.
We play regional Mexican music scene, particularly in the corrido and norteña genres. Kevin Rojas, is the lead vocalist and guitarist behind the band’s sound. Jacob the second guitarist, Juan bass player and guitarist. Andrew bass player
We are excited to continue seeing the progress and support we have received as we embark on this exciting adventure. We are grateful for the opportunities that have come their way and look forward to sharing our talent with the world.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Of course, it hasn’t always been smooth. Like any group, we’ve had our fair share of ups and downs. Sometimes, one of us might be unable to attend a gig due to work commitments, or we might not be able to practice together consistently. Alternatively, someone might not be putting in the same level of effort as the rest. However, these are normal occurrences, as we all have our own separate lives. The crucial aspect is that we communicate effectively as a team, address these issues, and work together to regain our momentum.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a part-time construction worker and a full-time student. We all have jobs and responsibilities outside of music. I am mostly proud of the growth I’ve seen in my life. As a young person, I’ve been able to expand my talent, ambition, and strengths. What sets me apart from others is my ability to break down challenges, work efficiently, and maintain a strong work ethic. My team can relate to many of the challenges they face and overcome them as they work and study.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
I was born and raised in Minnesota, a place that holds a special place in my heart. Growing up, I cherished the memories I made, witnessing my parent’s dedication and hard work as they provided for us all thanks to their efforts here in my hometown. While it’s hard to say a my least like about Minnesota, one consistent issue that stands out is the unorganization of traffic construction.
