Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Schwartz.
Hi Brandon, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Before I picked up a camera, I was constantly experimenting—sneaker reselling, copywriting, trading. These ventures worked, but I was searching for something different. Sneaker reselling meant managing inventory and storage. Copywriting and trading were more mobile, but lacked the creative fulfillment I didn’t even know I was looking for. I’d always wanted a camera, and these early ventures gave me the means to justify the investment. I thought it would just add another layer to what I was already building.
Then I picked it up, and everything changed.
Within a week, I filmed my first concert—no idea what I was doing, just pure instinct and adrenaline. A month later, I landed my first big project in East Los Angeles. The project went well, but we couldn’t align on a long-term partnership. Still, that project clarified everything for me. I knew this was what I wanted to pursue.
That was just over a year ago. Six months ago, I went full-time, building a videography and photography business around helping companies and personal brands scale through social media and compelling visual content. I was betting on potential over proof. I didn’t have years of experience, but I had momentum, and I trusted that. The work kept coming, and with each client, I refined my process, my vision, and my confidence.
Now, I’m operating with full conviction. I’ve built a scalable model creating cinematic, brand-driven content for businesses and individual professionals, turning one relationship into dozens of potential clients. I’ve gone from not knowing how to frame a shot to running a business that’s on track to hit six figures. This isn’t just a business—it’s the culmination of every lesson I learned from those early ventures, distilled into something I’m genuinely passionate about.
I’m no longer experimenting. I’m building.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Far from it. My childhood shaped me in ways that made the easy path impossible to take. After high school, I tried everything—sneaker reselling, trading, e-commerce, copywriting—searching for something that felt like mine. I dropped out of college with a 3.9 GPA, $344 to my name, and a dream to build something on my own terms.
The road was brutal. I built things up only to watch them collapse. I got scammed out of thousands of dollars. I worked late nights and woke up for early mornings, risking everything with no guarantee that what I envisioned would ever work.
Then I picked up a camera less than a year ago, and everything changed. I found something I didn’t just do—I found something I loved. A business that’s not only on the rise but has completely transformed my life.
Nobody believed in me. At times, I didn’t believe in myself. But I kept showing up, especially on the days I didn’t feel like it. That’s what made the difference.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in social media marketing specifically through photography and videography. I like to build long term partnerships and business relationships with the people I work with, and am very collaborative to help clients bring their ideas to life.
I work primarily with entrepreneurs, agencies, and professionals who understand that their brand is their most valuable asset. I shoot in natural light, focus on authentic moments, and create content that feels like a film, not an ad.
If there were one thing I am most proud of is that I never gave up. No matter what roadblock was in the way, I made a way around it. Self belief is everything when you’re trying to do something bigger than yourself, without it you will be steamrolled.
What sets me apart:
Most content creators are either great at the craft or great at business. I’m obsessed with both. I approach every project like a filmmaker, but I run my business like a strategist. I don’t just deliver videos—I deliver systems, consistency, and a brand experience. My clients don’t hire me for one-off content; they hire me because I become an extension of their brand.
What does success mean to you?
I define success and myself with a pencil because we’re always evolving and rewriting our story over time. To me, it’s becoming the highest version of myself. Whether it is physically, mentally, financially, or spiritually.
There’s no destination, it’s about becoming. Not perfection, but progress. It’s abput ;ppog back a year from now and seeing someone who grew, who pushed boundaries, and never settled. Creating something bigger than yourself, and leaving behind something to pick up their own pencil and begin writing.
