Hi Courtney, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always been drawn to the beauty industry and loved how lashes can highlight someone’s natural beauty and make them light up from within. Over time, I realized that helping people feel beautiful was something I genuinely enjoyed and wanted to do every day. That’s what inspired me to start Lulu Lash! I wanted to create a space where clients feel comfortable, cared for, and leave feeling even more radiant than before. There’s something so special about how lashes can frame the eyes and bring out someone’s natural glow. Seeing my clients look in the mirror and light up, that’s what makes it all worth it!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting a business was terrifying! I felt completely overwhelmed by all the technicalities of owning a business. However, the support of my family, friends, and mentor has been an incredible resource and has made the whole experience of business ownership so much more manageable.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a lash designer. I tailor each lash set to accent an individual’s unique beauty. The eyes are the windows to the soul, so your lashes shouldn’t look like everyone else’s. They should be uniquely yours! A wispy style might flatter hooded eyes, a Russian set can enhance deep-set eyes, and a manga style can make monolid eyes pop. My goal is to create lashes that complement each client’s features so their natural beauty truly shines.

One resource that has really helped me is GlossGenius. I use it for my website and booking system, and it has been a game changer. It keeps my calendar organized, sends reminders and follow-up texts to clients, and makes sure all waivers are signed. Having everything in one place takes so much stress off my plate and helps my business run smoothly so I can focus on my clients.
