Today we’d like to introduce you to Caitlyn Jungels.
Hi Caitlyn, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started my journey as a health care practitioner in 2014 as a sports medicine provider treating athletes on and off the sidelines. Through my practice in the field of Athletic Training, I became increasingly concerned about the concussion epidemic that occupied the athletic world. Due to my experiences during the ongoing concussion epidemic, I foresaw the ability to heal people holistically with real science. This led me to my journey of obtaining my doctorate in Chiropractic with an emphasis in functional neurology.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Upon graduating Chiropractic school. I was set to work in a TBI clinic in the Minnetonka area but ultimately decided that returning home was where I was needed most. After making that decision, COVID-19 had begun to take over the world which led me to practicing in a very traditional chiropractic office in St. Cloud, MN. Being able to open my own clinic one day, that would allow me to practice chiropractic functional neurology, was always a dream of mine but was not feasible with the future being unforeseeable with COVID-19 present.
After the world settled and some careful consideration, I choose to leave the traditional office I was with after 13 months. With Neuro Health always being on the back of my mind, my decision to leave opened up the opportunity that Neuro Health could eventually become an entity. But, shortly after leaving my current practice I was sued for a non-compete clause Heart shattering, I battled my way through the judicial system to have it dismissed a year later. During this time, I was able to evolve and perfect my dream of Neuro Health coming to fruition. In September of 2023, Neuro Health opened its doors, and I was able to bring chiropractic functional neurology to central, MN.
As you know, we’re big fans of Neuro Health Chiropractic Center. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Neuro Health Chiropractic Center is built of on the premises of functional Neurology. Functional Neurology is the ability to clinically evaluate the nervous system as a whole and use non-invasive brain-based therapies, rehab, and chiropractic to help improve a patient’s symptoms and quality of life.
I’m known to help a variety of conditions such as dysautonomia, vestibular dysfunction, vertigo, neurodevelopmental delays/disorders, emotional dysregulation and much more. I’m proud that Neuro Health as a brand provides hope to all those that have sought care here. I pride myself around patient-centered care and bringing the most relevant evident based therapies to my practice to help assist in improvement of my patient’s symptoms. Neuro health offers a variety of services such as HBOT, vestibular therapy, low-level laser therapy, vagal therapy, tilt table therapy, QEEG mapping, and Neurofeedback training. I believe chiropractic is an integral part of a multi-disciplinary approach when it comes to healthcare, and she is honored to serve her community through Neuro Health Chiropractic Center.

Opening a business is a risk in general. But opening Neuro Health wasn’t a major risk, it was a necessary risk. It was an opportunity that gave me professional freedom and allowed me to bring something different to Central MN.
