Today we’d like to introduce you to Paul Burnstein.
Hi Paul, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
A little over a decade ago, I was still working in an office environment and working long hours. I would rush my kids to daycare in the morning and then be lucky to see them at night before they went to bed. I was not happy with that lifestyle and wanted to have more time for my family. As a result, Gadget Guy MN was founded to allow me to create my own hours for work and spend more quality time with my children.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has taken time and perseverance to establish a regular customer base. The earlier years were more focused on growing the business and now it is about maintaining a balance of growth and regulars.
When I first started, I was good a researching and troubleshooting new issues. Over the years, I have experienced a lot more and therefore generally have to do less research and have more than likely seen the issue previously.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I am a Tech Handyman and can help with home theater to computers to smartphones. I offer troubleshooting, customization/optimization, and instruction to much of the Twin Cities metro area.
A common service these days is to help a customer cut the cord on cable and move to streaming services with a cable-replacement streaming service.
I pride myself on friendly, fast, efficient, and professional service.
I can generally offer service within a few days if not sooner.
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
I received my undergraduate degree in business administration with an emphasis in entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and earned a master’s degree in gerontology and long-term care management from Naropa University in Boulder, CO.
