Hi Anthony, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I Started the company, A+ Sealcoating in 2019. It started out as a teacher summer side hustle. It was just me and a fellow teacher doing some driveway sealcoating for friends, family and a few customers. Since then I started adding employees, equipment, trucks and have hired over 40 of my current and former students. We run 4 crews spring through fall doing residential and commercial asphalt maintenance and 2 crews doing commercial snow removal currently.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been a relatively smooth road but has taken a great deal of effort and drive to be the 7 figure company we are today.
As our company grew we needed to adjust our business plan. Throughout the season there are thousands of smaller challenges that we have to adjust and overcome. The rainy weather the past two summers can be challenging on a company like ours that requires dry conditions.

Any big plans?
We have grown our customer base and revenue each year we have been in business. Our future plan is to continue to service our valued return residential and commercial customers and new customers for years to come. We are also looking into ways we can harness the power of AI to enhance our business operations. We feel strongly that AI can help grow the business and improve efficiencies.
