Hidden Gems: Meet Aryan Marxaney of Digitus Network

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aryan Marxaney.

Hi Aryan, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
The Central Lakes Learning Center started in 2023 — with a vision to provide extracurriculars to students in the local area. We began by focusing primarily on music and art classes, and partnered with Team Ascension Martial Arts to provide karate and gymnastics to our students.

Over the years, our model has developed – while we began mainly with individual extracurricular classes, we’ve now shifted to offering more of an afterschool program, which incorporates multiple extracurricular activities into every afternoon. We also offer pickup from local schools to ensure that each student is supported.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Starting up a new business is never a smooth road… and the learning center was no exception. We’ve struggled with everything from finding students to finding instructors— but we have learned and come out stronger and more confident in our success going forward.

As you know, we’re big fans of Digitus Network. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Digitus Network, our parent company, provides educational solutions to students around the world. The Learning Center is just one of our many international projects — and our success with our flagship (and first) location in Brainerd has led us to open up three additional centers — two in the United States and one in Brazil.

Digitus Network’s largest business is our online school, the Pinnacle Academy, a K-12 accredited online private school registered in the state of Minnesota. Combining our in-person centers and our online model, we have created a unique hybrid educational model.

How do you think about happiness?
We enjoy serving our community, and providing an afterschool program which does more than provide… care. We value that our program allows students to learn, grow and hone their skills.
