Today we’d like to introduce you to Annika, owner of Lovely Little Details, a vintage rental and design company located in Saint Cloud, MN.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Lovely Little Details started with my love of event planning and throwing parties for my friends and family. Hosting has always been enjoyable for me but I do see so many others struggle with it. The food prep, cleaning, decorating, drinks, invites, and everything else that comes with it can be overwhelming. I wanted to take a little off the planner’s plate to make hosting more enjoyable. I also am very vintage and sustainability focused in my decor style. I try to reuse as much as possible by giving old, cherished items new life!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
For the most part, yes. I think when you are excited and passionate about what you do, others are, too. Every wedding or event is different, I find inspiration in that!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in wedding design. My style is vintage, romantic and eclectic but I do love to cater to your individual style. I enjoy the hunt when it comes to vintage and antiques. If you want something personal and specific, I am your girl! I love all the lovely little details when it comes to events. I want your personality to shine through your decor.
I am most proud of the community I have found and the “friendors” I have made through my business. It is so fun to get to know other wedding and event vendors that experience different parts of each event that I might not get to experience. I love to be their cheerleader because I know they are mine!
I think what sets me apart from others is how I curate each design and rental for each of my couples. Every party is different and it should be! Getting to know my couples on a deeper level and finding the perfect pieces for their day is energizing.
