Today we’d like to introduce you to Nick Tveitbakk.
Hi Nick, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I have worked as a recording Engineer and Producer in the music industry for 27 years. I got my start in Studios in Minneapolis and later expanded to Studios in Los Angeles and New york owned by John Kuker. He purchased Pachyderm Recording Studios out of foreclosure in 2011 and that is how I have landed in my current position. I have been running Pachyderm Recording Studios for the last 14 years.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
When packet and recording Studios was purchased out of foreclosure, it was in serious need of renovation and upgrading. Over the last decade plus John Kuker and his family have worked tirelessly to upgrade and maintain the beautiful property that is packed and recording Studios. It is one of the most beautiful and magical places in our great state of Minnesota. We are all honored to be able to take care of this legendary recording studio
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I have been a recording engineer and music producer for the last 27 years. I grew up in Northwestern Minnesota and come from a very Music family. Music has been a part of my life my entire life. I am so. To be able to do do what I do for a living. I am most proud of the work that we have done in maintaining and creating the creative space that is Pachyderm recording studio. It is a very special place.
