Hi Abigail, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My love of the beauty industry began as a child I remember how impressed I was watching my mom host Mary Kay parties in many a friends living room, while flipping through years of countless issues of vogue left me with a desire to create art with the people I love. I began my journey as Superficial LLC founded in 2009, providing hair and makeup services and the evolution of my craft the last 17 years has produced a new vision and brand. CANVAS the collective a space to indulge in the art of you. A full service experience where wellness and beauty combine to leave you radiant from the inside out.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
This is a career of constant skill refinement, and expansion. Discovering your unique signature is one of the of joyfull challenges in this craft.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am most notably known for my signature approach to blonding, and my love for the science behind the art of the hair and beauty industry.
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
I was a homeschool kid, I enjoyed my freedom to explore and create and of course mom’s carefully curated lesson plans and adventures. Such as bread making, basket weaving and exploring all the historical sites Minnesota has to offer.
