Today we’d like to introduce you to Aaron Kreutter.
Hi Aaron, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Honestly, some of my favorite memories are pretty simple. As a teenager, it was cruising the main—seeing the cool cars, just driving around, hanging out, and being with friends. And even earlier than that, it was riding bikes everywhere, just exploring with no real plan and no need for one.
One memory that always sticks with me though is when my dad promised me a Ghostbusters backpack proton gun. We ended up going to multiple Toys “R” Us trying to track one down—no internet, no checking stock, just driving from store to store until we found it. At the time it felt like a mission, but looking back, it’s one of those moments you realize was about way more than the toy. It was completing the mission with my dad.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all—it hasn’t been a smooth road. It’s been worth it, but it’s definitely been earned.
There were a lot of long days in the beginning—nights, weekends, doing whatever it took to keep things moving while still making sure the bills were paid. When you’re building something from scratch, there’s a lot of pressure that comes with betting on yourself.
I had to learn a lot the hard way too—pricing jobs correctly, managing time, figuring out what to say yes to and what to walk away from. I definitely underpriced work early on, overbooked myself, and felt that burnout of trying to do everything at once while still holding a high standard.
Then there’s the investment side. Upgrading equipment, bringing in better products like HITEK Films, traveling for training—it all takes money upfront before it ever pays you back. You have to trust that raising your standards will bring the right customers, even when it feels like a risk.
Growing into a bigger shop and building a team came with its own challenges too. Letting go of doing everything myself, training others to meet the same expectations, and creating consistency across the board—that’s not easy. It’s one thing to do great work yourself, it’s another to build something where everyone delivers at that level.
There were definitely moments of doubt along the way. Times where things felt slow, overwhelming, or uncertain. But every challenge forced me to get better—not just at the craft, but at running a business and leading a team.
Looking back, none of it was smooth—but every bit of it was necessary to build what we have today.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about All the Details, LLC?
All the Details was built on a simple idea—do things the right way, every single time.
We’re a family-owned automotive appearance and protection shop in Owatonna, Minnesota. We specialize in paint correction, ceramic coatings, window tint, paint protection film (PPF), accessories, and full interior and exterior detailing. Whether it’s a daily driver, a work truck, a motorcycle, or a high-end or classic vehicle, our goal is always to bring it back to its absolute best—or better than it’s ever been.
What sets us apart is the level of care and experience behind the work. I bring over 20 years of experience as a mechanic into this business, so we don’t just focus on how a vehicle looks—we understand how it’s built and how to properly care for it. That perspective carries into everything we do. We don’t cut corners, we don’t rush jobs, and we don’t offer services unless we know we can deliver them at a high level.
We’ve also invested heavily in training and top-tier products, including working with premium films like HITEK Films. That allows us to provide real, long-lasting protection—not just something that looks good when it leaves the shop, but something that continues to perform.
What I’m most proud of brand-wise is the reputation we’ve built. We’ve grown from a one-person operation into a full shop with a team and a much larger facility, but we’ve never lost what got us here—honesty, consistency, and attention to detail. People trust us with their vehicles, and that’s something we don’t take lightly.
At the end of the day, we’re not just cleaning or protecting vehicles—we’re delivering pride of ownership. We want every customer to leave feeling confident in what they’re driving and confident in who they trusted to take care of it. That’s what All the Details stands for.
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
