Hi Marina, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
A partnership between two sisters, ATELIER957 evolved from locally renowned tailor shop Perfect Fit By Marina into a destination for lovers of unique and timeless fashion. Owners Marina and Liliya, originally from Kiev, Ukraine, and now dedicated members of Minnesota’s Twin Cities fashion community, have put their heart and soul into their passion for individuality, self-expression, and of course, dressing well 😉
ATELIER957 is a women’s fashion boutique offering hand picked clothing and accessories from small design houses around the world. Our curated collections are meticulously chosen so that women of all ages, shapes, sizes, and personalities can feel comfortable and confident.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Running a small retail business is rarely a smooth road. It requires constant adaptation because retail is highly sensitive to external factors like weather, economy, politic and such
We always try to build deep local relationships through in-store events, personal customer service, and collaborations.
The landed costs for imported merchandise is dramatically higher now because of the tariffs which is eating into our profit margins and forcing us to make difficult decisions regarding our pricing and inventory

I am (Marina) a dressmaker with 30 years experience and always available to give my honest professional advise on the fit to any customer who has any concerns about size or fit.
We know shopping online can be challenging without seeing and trying on items, and because we carry lines with different sizing standards, it can be hard to know what size to order
We also provide personal styling advises.
