Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Linde.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My creative path helped led me to my psychic mediumship development. I was very intuitive growing up, and ‘knew things’ that I couldn’t explain. I was also very sensitive and expressed my connection with spirit world through my artwork. I didn’t understand that I was channeling until later in life. Through synchronic events my psychic gifts began to open more and more. However, I had a lot of fear around the spirit world, but it was based in old stereotypes, and misunderstandings of what a medium does. Once I began taking classes and further developing I began to see what a beautiful amazing experience it is. I love teaching others and offering my services to clients. Currently I am based in Wayzata, MN (just west of Minneapolis) in Moderwell office building. Many people enjoy the in person connection at my office. I also offer video sessions for out of state and international readings.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Like I stated earlier, I did have fear around it all. Mediumship in particular. I had no idea it was such a healing experience. Once I let go of the fear and began to understand how it works, and that Spirits are here to help us, I started to feel their love through me for others. Other professional mediums understand this, and society has been catching on and opening up to their own abilities in various ways. I still encounter people who don’t know what it is, or have misunderstandings of it. My job isn’t to make anyone believe anything. I’m here to be a loving vehicle for Spirit and any messages they have for clients. It’s also a unique channel of expression, in the fact that they no longer have a physical body! So it’s a bit like playing charades, which is why it’s so important to go through years of development. Becoming a professional medium is a choice that happens with time and education. Even those who were aware of spirit as a very young child, need community and aid to develop their gifts and self along the way.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am also a creative person that continues to paint and make oracle decks. This helps me channel in another way from Spirit. It also helps me to be in flow state and use my senses in another way. This has helped me in my mediumship and intuitive life as well. I like to think of them as cousins. Both from Source just different expressions, and in the same family.
As mediums we can get burnt out easily, and as artists we have times where we don’t feel very creative. For me alternating them has been very helpful to keep the energy moving. Self care is the key to all of channeled work. Besides doing 1:1 sessions, I also offer group sessions, and teach. I know how difficult it is at the beginning of development to have a supportive community that allows you to blossom.
What matters most to you? Why?
Being authentic, truthful, open to change, and growth in ones self. Also self compassion. If you are perfectionist, spiritual growth will help you deconstruct that. Or if you feel you are stuck in people pleasing, the wrong profession or unable to express yourself. I have found psychic/intuitive and mediumship development extremely helpful for myself and others. You don’t have to know why you want to do it, you just need to follow your nudge to. Sometimes it’s just for the self growth. Other times you are being called to become a healer yourself. It’s always scary to try something new, but scarier to stay in the same stuck pattern.
