Today we’d like to introduce you to Frannie Wilcox.
Hi Frannie, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my career as an esthetician right out of high school. I worked for waxing company for a little over a year and was able to perfect my waxing skills. Once I specialized in waxing I was ready to expand my skills. I started working for a full service salon and was able to perfect my facials, bridal makeup, eyelash extensions, and eyelash lift skills. After being there for a few years and building a clientele I was ready to make the jump and open up my own salon suite. Owning my own business was always a goal of mine so when I finally got the confidence todo it everything felt right with making that decision.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There has been a lot of learning curves with starting my own business. I had a general idea of how to run a salon due to the fact that when I was in high school I was a receptionist so I knew the ins and out of booking appointments and scheduling. I was also able to connect with a lot of people in the industry who were able to give me a lot of helpful tips with running a business. The main struggles for me with running a business is being consistent with showing up on social media, that has been the hardest thing for me. I also have had a lot of learning curves with learning a new booking system and figuring out all the things with that

I have been an esthetician since 2017. I specialize in full body waxing and eyelash services. What sets me apart from other service providers in my industry is I build a connection with all of my clients. I want them to feel like we have been life long friends, I love to learn about them, their family and everything about their lives.
