Tsitsi, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
In 2021, I was at the height of my career as a dental professional, yet I found myself feeling lost and searching for direction, community, and a greater sense of purpose. I knew there was more I was meant to do. During that season of my life, I joined the Business Excellence and Impact Group Bootcamp Program, where I was mentored by the co-founders, Angela Hooper-Menifield, Cedrick LaFleur, and Dr. Nicole Rankine and I started Higher Mountaintops, LLC.
I help aspiring and early professionals navigate career transitions with clarity and confidence. The name Higher Mountaintops reflects my philosophy that life is a journey of continual growth. Higher Mountaintops, LLC is a reminder that the journey is not solely about achievement, but about who you are becoming along the way. Through vision, personal development, professional achievement, and legacy building, each phase of life and every mountaintop contributes to meaningful impact and lasting influence. Along life’s journey, there will be many mountaintops to reach, and we help people Ascend Higher™.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not been a smooth road. I believe in life one may cross paths with people, some for a season, a reason, or a lifetime. I believe I crossed paths with my coach, Angela Hooper-Menifield, Founder of Menifield and Associates and the RITE Conversation Builder™, for both a reason and a lifetime.
I met Angela several years ago, and early on she saw greatness in me long before I could see it in myself. After an amazing start to my business, fear and self-doubt began to surface. During that time, in one of our conversations, she reminded me that fear is not an indicator that we cannot do something. It may simply mean we have not done it yet. I learned from her how to lean into fear rather than allow it to hold me back. The conversations we had and the lessons I learned as I grew over the years became the foundation of my chapter, “Decision Making Under Pressure: Leading in Uncertainty,” in the anthology Leadership Unveiled: Elevating Leadership Through Experience. The chapter I wrote is not just about making decisions. It is about learning to move forward with courage, even when the path ahead is not yet fully clear.
One of the greatest gifts Angela has given me is helping me see more in myself than I could see in the moment. Through this journey, I have learned that success is not only about what you accomplish, but also about who you become along the way. Today, I am grateful that I get to do the same for others by helping aspiring and early professionals see more in themselves, navigate career transitions with clarity and confidence, and Ascend Higher™.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Artificial intelligence will continue to transform how we work, but it will not replace the need for human connection, ongoing support and encouragement. I believe people will continue to seek support from leaders who can help them navigate their career journey. I see Higher Mountaintops, LLC over the next 5-10 years continuing to grow by preparing the next generation of leadership in the workplace, Gen Z aspiring and early career professionals for their next career chapter and also helping them elevate their mindset and cultivate the courage to continue to Ascend Higher™ through every stage of their career journey.
