Hi Fallon, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Golden Garden Botanicals began with a simple nudge. In October 2024, I felt a quiet stirring in my heart to get prepared. At the time, I wasn’t entirely sure what that meant or where it would lead. Looking back now, I can clearly see that it was the beginning of what would become Golden Garden Botanicals.
What started as a desire to better care for my family soon grew into a passion for natural wellness, herbalism, food preservation, and creating products rooted in faith and intentional living.
My journey began with a single batch of elderberry syrup. I wanted to support my family’s immune systems, rely less on over-the-counter products, and learn how to use the gifts God has already placed around us. That first batch would eventually become our Restore & Defend Elderberry Syrup, and it sparked a curiosity that changed the direction of my life.
As I researched elderberries and traditional herbal practices, I found myself diving deeper into the world of medicinal plants and natural remedies. The more I learned, the more I was amazed by God’s provision through nature. Everywhere I looked, I discovered plants that had been used for generations to support health and wellness. That curiosity led me into creating herbal teas, tinctures, and botanical remedies designed to support everyday wellness.
One of the first tea blends I formulated was my Breathe Easy Tea, which quickly became a favorite. Two of its hero ingredients are Wild Cherry Bark (Prunus serotina) and Mullein (Verbascum thapsus). Wild Cherry Bark has long been valued for supporting respiratory comfort, soothing coughs, and its natural anti-inflammatory and astringent properties. Mullein is well known for supporting lung health, soothing irritated respiratory tissues, and providing natural antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. Together with other thoughtfully selected herbs, this blend was created to offer gentle support during seasonal challenges and respiratory discomfort.
As friends and family began using my products, I witnessed firsthand how meaningful simple, plant-based remedies could be. Their encouragement inspired me to continue learning, growing, and creating.
As my herbal journey expanded, I began taking a closer look at the ingredients in my skincare products. I realized I was applying countless ingredients to my skin without truly understanding them or knowing whether they were supporting my aging skin’s health. Once again, I turned to nature.
After months of research, testing, and formulation, I created what would become one of Golden Garden Botanicals’ most loved products: Go & Glow Oil Balm. Made with nourishing ingredients such as grass-fed tallow, organic shea butter, rich mango butter, infused calendula rosehip oil, carrot seed oil, and more carefully selected botanical oils. Go & Glow Oil Balm was designed to deeply nourish and support healthy, radiant aging skin. The response from our community was incredible, and it quickly became a customer favorite.
One project naturally led to another.
The more I learned, the more I realized that sometimes less truly is more. Fewer unnecessary ingredients, fewer chemicals, and more intentional choices. Whether creating herbal remedies, skincare products, or food preservation solutions, my goal became simple: create products made with ingredients I trust and feel good about sharing with others.
In 2025, our journey expanded again when we purchased our first freeze dryer.
I had already fallen in love with dehydrating foods and learning traditional preservation methods, but freeze drying opened an entirely new world of possibilities. What began as a way to preserve our own harvest and build our pantry quickly grew into a thriving part of the business.
Today, Golden Garden Botanicals offers a variety of freeze-dried fruits, vegetables, herbs, candies, treats, and pantry staples, along with freeze-dryer rental services that help families preserve their garden harvests, reduce food waste, and build long-term food reserves.
Some of our most-loved freeze-dried products include our Tropical Blend, a vibrant mix of mango, kiwi, banana, and pineapple, and our signature Fallon Blend, featuring peas, carrots, beets, and peppers—a colorful, nutrient-rich blend inspired by the garden. We also offer allergy-friendly freeze-dried candies, including our popular Giggles. Giving families fun treats made without many of the common allergens and junk found in traditional candies.
Our passion for creating also led us into crafting unique DIY Craft Cocktail/Mocktail Infusion Pours. Using carefully selected dehydrated and freeze-dried fruits, herbs, spices, and botanicals, these infusion kits transform ordinary spirits into handcrafted cocktails. Every kit is made with real ingredients—no artificial flavors, no unnecessary fillers, and no shortcuts.
At the heart of everything we do is a deep appreciation for God’s creation and natual ingredients.
We are actively growing medicinal and culinary gardens with the vision of providing locally grown botanicals and sharing the beauty of growing, preserving, and using plants in everyday life. We believe that food, herbs, and wellness are deeply connected and that nature offers an abundance worth stewarding well.
Today, Golden Garden Botanicals is more than a business. It is the result of a journey rooted in faith, preparedness, natural wellness, self-sufficiency, a desire to care for the people I love and our community.
One of the greatest blessings to come from this journey has been watching our two children grow alongside Golden Garden Botanicals.
From helping in the garden and harvesting herbs to learning about medicinal plants, foraging, food preservation, preparedness skills, creating, packaging, and sharing, they have been involved every step of the way. They aren’t involved because they have to be, they genuinely love it. What started as my desire to better care for my family has become a lifestyle that our entire family embraces together.
Watching them develop these skills and build a connection to nature and self-sufficiency has become one of the most rewarding parts of this journey. My hope is that they grow up understanding where their food comes from, appreciating the value of hard work, and carrying these skills with them into adulthood.
Our mission is to help families reconnect with nature, support their wellness through thoughtfully crafted products, preserve food for the future, and discover the abundance God has placed all around us.
What began as a small nudge in October 2024 has grown into a passion, a purpose, and a community. Every tea blended, every tincture crafted, every balm poured, every freeze-dried packaged, and every garden planted is part of that story.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Like any journey, building Golden Garden Botanicals has come with its share of challenges.
One of the biggest obstacles I’ve faced has been trusting myself. Every time I create a new product, there is still a small part of me that wonders, “Will people like this? Will it actually help them?” I pour so much care, research, and intention into every product, but self-doubt has often been one of my greatest battles.
Beyond mindset, the technical side of running a business has been far more challenging than I ever imagined. Packaging, labeling, designing products, ordering the correct supplies, correcting mistakes, finding missing words on labels, dealing with sizing issues, and navigating countless back-office technical problems have consumed more hours than I can count. Even today, packaging and labeling continue to be some of the most time-consuming aspects of the business.
There have been moments when I’ve felt overwhelmed, questioned my abilities, or wondered if I was doing enough. But whenever I start to get too hard on myself, I return to the reason I started.
Golden Garden Botanicals was never born from a desire to build a business. It began with a desire to protect and care for my family. More importantly, I’ve come to realize that this isn’t truly my business at all. It is God’s vision, God’s purpose, and God’s assignment. I am simply stewarding what He has placed in my hands.
Two verses that continually come to mind are Luke 16:10: “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.” And, Philippians 1:6, “He who started a good work in you will finish it to completion.”
Those verses remind me that faithfulness matters. Every batch mixed, every label printed, every garden planted, and every lesson learned is an opportunity to be faithful with what God has entrusted to me today. They also remind me that God is not finished with my story yet. The same God who planted Golden Garden Botanicals in my heart is faithful to guide, grow, and complete the work of it all.
Whenever self-doubt creeps in, I do two things. First, I give Golden Garden Botanicals back to its original Creator, God. I remind myself that this business belongs to Him and that He is responsible for the outcome.
Second, I remember something a friend once told me: “That’s the beauty of what you’re doing and creating. It can be whatever you want it to be. It’s yours.” Those words have stayed with me because they remind me that I don’t have to fit into someone else’s mold. Golden Garden Botanicals is growing organically, one lesson, one creation, and one act of faith at a time.
And honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Golden Garden Botanicals is a handcrafted herbal brand rooted in the garden, where every leaf, root, and bloom has a purpose. We create everything we make. From tea blends, tinctures, freeze-dried goods, herbal medicinal health kits, craft cocktail infusion pours, botanical skincare, and handcrafted wellness products using thoughtfully chosen ingredients inspired by traditional plant wisdom and the simple power of nature.
Each item is made in small batches with care. From garden to jar, honoring the integrity of the plants and the seasons they grow in. Nothing rushed, nothing artificial—just real, whole botanicals prepared with intention to support everyday wellness and practical, nature-based living.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned throughout this journey, it’s that no one builds something meaningful alone.
Golden Garden Botanicals may have started with a simple nudge from God, but it has grown because of the incredible people He has placed around me.

To my husband—thank you for supporting this journey and every crazy idea that seems to pop into my head.
To my two children—you have been by my side from the very beginning. Whether we’re making mocktails, creating tea blends, planting medicinal gardens, smelling herbs, freeze drying food, packaging products, or sharing products with others, you’ve embraced this lifestyle with joy. You don’t help because you have to—you help because you genuinely want to. Watching you grow alongside Golden Garden Botanicals has become one of the greatest blessings of this entire journey.
To my mom and my sister—thank you for loving me unconditionally, cheering me on, catching me whenever I stumble and making sure I stay in my lane.
