Hi Kendall, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My love for makeup began when I was a little girl. I was always sneaking into my mom’s makeup bag, fascinated by every product I could find. In fact, my grandparents still have a little reminder of my childhood curiosity—a red lipstick masterpiece I created on the ceiling beneath their staircase with my mom’s favorite lipstick!
As a teenager, I spent countless hours watching beauty gurus on YouTube, soaking up every tip and technique I could learn. When I got married at 21, my wedding makeup was incredibly important to me. I watched endless bridal makeup tutorials, determined to create the perfect look for one of the most meaningful days of my life.
That experience sparked something even bigger. I fell completely in love with the beauty of weddings and realized I could combine my passion for makeup with the joy of helping other women feel beautiful on their own wedding day. I began doing bridal makeup in 2016 for friends and clients, and in 2017 I decided to fully invest in my passion by pursuing my esthetician license.
In 2024, I was blessed with the opportunity to train with a celebrity makeup artist, an experience that further refined my artistry and elevated my skills. Today, I’ve been creating bridal beauty for nearly a decade, and I still feel incredibly grateful every time I get to be part of a bride’s wedding day.
Over the years, this career has brought me so much fulfillment—from the amazing women I’ve had the privilege of serving to the incredible opportunities it has opened for me. I’ve since expanded my services to include bridal hairstyling alongside makeup, allowing me to create a seamless, personalized beauty experience for my brides.
Every wedding season, I look forward to meeting new brides, hearing their stories, and helping them feel confident, beautiful, and truly themselves on one of the most important days of their lives. It is an honor I never take for granted, and I can’t wait to continue doing what I love for many years to come.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. I’ve faced my share of obstacles and challenges—from having babies in the middle of wedding season to navigating an increasingly saturated market and the ever-changing challenges of advertising. Through every high and low, one thing has kept me grounded and hopeful: my faith in Jesus. He has been my constant source of strength, guidance, and purpose, reminding me that every season has a reason and that His plans are always greater than my own.

What sets me apart is that I believe bridal beauty is about so much more than hair and makeup—it’s about creating an experience. From the moment you sit in my chair, my goal is to bring a sense of calm, confidence, and joy to your wedding morning.

Known for my attention to detail, I take pride in everything from flawless blending and long-lasting application to perfecting every curl and pin. I also understand that your wedding morning sets the tone for your entire day, so I strive to make the getting-ready process organized, seamless, and as stress-free as possible.
Above all, my faith in Jesus is the foundation of how I serve others. It shapes the way I care for my brides—with kindness, integrity, patience, and a genuine desire to make each woman feel seen, valued, and beautiful inside and out. My mission isn’t simply to create beautiful hair and makeup—it’s to help you feel confident, beautiful, and fully present as you step into one of the most meaningful moments of your life.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
I love the beauty and diversity, and all the people that I get to meet and share in their life experiences. Everyone has a story, and one of the beautiful things about my profession is getting to connect and hear about every experience. What I least like is that we are given a bad rap, there is definitely such thing as Minnesota nice. When ever I leave the state I really notice it and truly appreciate the great state we live in and the kindness that you are met with daily.
