Today we’d like to introduce you to Greshann Murdoch.
Greshann, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Canary Beach Resort has been a gemstone of the community for almost 50 years. There is a seasonal guest who just recently told me he has been coming here since 1980! The beauty of this safe, clean and friendly family vacation spot has impacted generations. Unhitched Management was given the honor of protecting the integrity and values of Canary Beach Resort in April of 2026.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Every road worth traveling is a little bumpy. I am here for the adventure of it all! Before Unhitched came onto the scene Canary Beach Resort had a little bit of it’s luster misplaced. The community has been a huge help enabling me to know the life long seasonal guests and what they originally fell in love with here at Canary Beach Resort. Once the back end office was sorted out I was able to give my attention to rebuilding the close knit feel the guests sorely missed. I am so grateful to be able to become involved with not just the guests at the resort, but also with the Pope County community as a whole.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I consider myself to have a very eclectic education. The tradition side of my education is I was the first in three generations to earn a Bachelor’s degree. My major was Creative Writing. I went on to earn a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. My heart lies with the elderly. I wanted to manage in the health field and in so serve the elderly who I saw to be lonely and in a lot of pain. The last ten years I have dedicated a large part of my time and energy to flipping houses. With lots of grace from God all of this has developed me professionally into a property manager who knows how to communicate very efficiently, complete in house managerial procedures and execute strategic infrastructure improvements.
What sets me further apart is I am a journey runner. I run ultra-marathons that expand over multiple days. As an ultra-marathoner I am consistently in the best health and when I choose to commit to something I will do what ever it takes. Look for me at Cocodona 250 2027.
