Daily Inspiration: Meet Hailey Lebaron

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hailey Lebaron.

Hi Hailey, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I actually never drank coffee before I started this journey. I decided to buy my first espresso machine, a Breville, off Marketplace, and honestly, I had no idea what I was doing. I didn’t even know how to properly use the machine at first, so I started watching tons of videos and teaching myself.

What started as something I was just curious about quickly became an obsession. I became especially interested in latte art and spent so much time watching other people create it and then practicing it myself. I would practice almost every day, trying to get a little better each time.

That’s actually what inspired me to start my coffee page, CoffeeByHailey. In the beginning, I simply wanted a place to document my progress and share my latte art as I learned. I never imagined it would turn into what it is today.

Over time, my page grew, brands started reaching out, and something that began as a hobby became a job that I genuinely love. I’m now able to create coffee content and make an income doing something I’m passionate about, which is something I’m incredibly grateful for.

I’m also a stay-at-home mom of four, so being able to build something of my own from home has been especially meaningful to me. Coffee started as something completely new to me, and I think that’s one of my favorite parts of the story — I didn’t grow up drinking coffee or have any background in it. I was simply curious, taught myself, practiced a lot, and eventually turned that curiosity into something I love.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. When I first started, I was teaching myself everything from scratch and learning through a lot of trial and error. As content creation became a bigger part of my life, one of my biggest challenges has been finding a balance between creating content and being a mom to four kids. It can be challenging to find the time and energy for both, but I’ve learned to give myself grace and make it work. I’m grateful that I’ve been able to build something I love while still being home with my kids.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a coffee content creator and latte artist behind CoffeeByHailey. I create aesthetic coffee videos, share recipes, and especially love creating latte art. I taught myself everything from the beginning, so a lot of my content comes from that genuine love of learning and creating.

I’m most proud that something that started as a hobby has grown into a career that I genuinely love. What sets me apart is that I didn’t come from a coffee background at all—I didn’t even drink coffee before I started. I think that gives my content a more relatable side because I’m still constantly learning, experimenting, and finding new ways to make coffee creative and beautiful.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Probably the most surprising thing is that I didn’t even drink coffee before I started CoffeeByHailey. I bought my first espresso machine on a whim, taught myself how to use it, and completely fell in love with latte art. Something I had never even been interested in became a hobby, then a passion, and eventually my career.
