Meet Khan Ahsan-Ul Muzib

Today we’d like to introduce you to Khan Ahsan-Ul Muzib.

Hi Ahsan, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My origin is Bangladesh. I completed my undergrad at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. After my undergrad, I always wanted to come to the USA for higher study. SO that’s why I came to the USA to pursue my master’s. Photography is my passion. I like both portrait and street photography. If anybody is interested, feel free to check my insta @ahsantuba.

The journey to got to where I am today was not easy at all. A kid from Bangladesh, coming to the land of the living was very hard. But I was determined to follow my dream which brought me here.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road wasn’t smooth at all. Finding universities in my own research field, contacting the professors, getting admission with full funding- everything was super difficult and time-consuming. After my undergrad, I was doing a job that was barely enough to support my family. Still, I was able to save enough money for every step of the process. All this time, my family was beside me. This support helped me to overcome the obstacles.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am an engineer. Right now I am working as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota Duluth. After finishing my master’s here I want to pursue a Ph.D. in my research field and after that, find a job in academia. My specialty is in fluid mechanics and fluid dynamics. I am proud that my students are getting better grades and learning more compared to the other students in the same course under a different instructor.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
If people want to collaborate with me or support me, knock me on insta or send me an email. I’ll be more than happy to collab.
