Today we’d like to introduce you to Charlette Savoie.
Hi Charlette, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I believe I always had things about me that fully didn’t make sense. not just to me but to others around me. Why did I have spirits around me that only I knew about? Why did I feel everything so deeply? I was labeled as too sensitive and having an overactive imagination. No one really could provide an answer or even want to talk about it. Also growing up around skeptics I had to find the answers for myself. I found myself searching for answers but always ending up in the wrong places. Eventually, the paranormal shows began airing. It was watching them that I realized there were reasons things were happening and also easing some of my fears. Are there really things happening around me that others are not experiencing? Eventually, I found myself becoming involved in my own paranormal investigations. Which ultimately led me to working in a haunted hotel for a few years. This is where I met several healers, psychics, and mediums. Hearing their experiences and what happens around them is when all the pieces started to fall in place and my life began to make sense. I was finally understanding who I was and why I was having the experiences I was.
I decided I needed to discover more and learn about who I really was. Exploring and working with my intuition has opened the connection even more to those from the other side reaching out. Whether during a reading or in a location. To me it is all the same. The metaphysical and the paranormal blending together is how I found myself. Working in both the Metaphysical and Paranormal field has been the most rewarding journey. Becoming a Reiki Master and Energy Healer has helped bring healing as well for both sides.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
For myself, the biggest obstacle has been working past the fear of the unknown and trusting myself. Also understanding that others will not agree or understand what I am doing. There is this misconception that the metaphysical and the paranormal are two different things. Society sees them so different because of what movies and television make them out to be. When in reality they are intertwined. For me, if I connect to a spirit in my office or connect to one in an abandoned location the connection is the same, and the message that comes through is just as important. The only difference is geography. Being able to hold space for a spirit to tell their story and have a voice once more is an honor. All anyone wants in life is to be heard and remembered. It doesn’t change once our physical self is gone. This has been the hardest thing for others to understand about why I do all of this.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Charvinity came to life about four years ago. I wanted to share my own outlook with others that may be on the same unique path. Allowing others to be themselves in a space that honors we all have our own path to follow. We do not need to follow others’ path. Being an empath was a challenge throughout my life. Through my own healing, research, and growth I developed a series titled “You are an Empath, Now What?” An empath is someone who absorbs energy from all sources. Which can be very overwhelming, and they tend to be labeled overly sensitive. Through this series other empaths can learn about the world around them, and how they can manage their energy and how it affects them on many levels. Even after the series, there is a private support system for them for ongoing support, conversations, and resources.
Becoming a Reiki Master Energy Healer and Teacher has been so rewarding. Channeling Reiki allows healing to help someone on an emotional, physical, and spiritual level. Doing this service has been so healing and rewarding as an empath and wanting to heal others. Reiki can allow healing energy to help the client on multiple levels. During the sessions, I also use crystals, singing bowls, healing music, and energetic cleansing with incense or burning healing herbs.
During mediumship readings, I prefer to not know prior knowledge of who may come through in spirit and trust my intuition to channel the messages. Again, I lean on my empath side when connecting. During the readings it allows me to feel the emotions and the physical aspects of the spirit during the session. I feel this allows a stronger connection to be made and for the client to have a more personal reading.
Divination is also a passion of mine. I studied divination history through Harvard X online. Which opened me up to several types of modalities. This is where my passion is creating my own divination tools that I offer for purchase and teaching about them as well. Other metaphysical classes and products that I have created are also available on my website. Most of my classes are offered online and in person.
Finally bringing the metaphysical and the paranormal together to teach the course “Paranormal Dimensions and The Supernatural” Along with a friend and colleague in the field Greg Bakun. We developed a series that breaks down the whole process from start to end. However, unlike other paranormal classes, we focus on the metaphysical aspects. We help the students develop their intuition as well. Which is one of the most important things you can have when investigating. Once the students finish the course, we then venture to a location for a weekend of exploring and using all the tools they learned in class. The results have been phenomenal. We focus on it being the spirit’s story and not ours. We are there to listen and not force them to follow the narrative that has been perceived about them.

I am very open to collaborating on new endeavors with others. I have had some of the most amazing experiences by working with others and learning new things myself. In fact, I am currently collaborating with several other talented practitioners, and we have come together to offer private group parties.
