Exploring Life & Business with Samuel Moore of Moore Media

Today we’d like to introduce you to Samuel Moore.

Hi Samuel, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I worked as a content creator for a brand in the fishing industry out of college. It was a great job and a great brand. Still have a lot of friends there.

About 4 years ago, I decided to make the plunge and start working for myself. Didn’t have a ton of work lined up but knew working for myself was the direction I wanted to go.

After taking out a loan for some camera gear, and starting to work on preparing a portfolio, I find myself running an agency of 5 speciazing in outdoor media and social marketing.

We have been fortunate enough to work with brands like Under Armour, Polaris, Hunstand, Federal, Eskimo and countless others that are leaders in there fields. We Prefer quality over WQuantaty always, and strive to be competitive with lean team.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Thre are always things you run into as you go that you learn from.

I think for us, we have been fortunate enough to let out work speak for itself, and hens to this day don’t have a formal website. Just social and word of mouth has got us to connect with the brands we want to work with.

Growing at a steady base but being able to invest into yourself and the business is always a way to have a steady growth. In such a large industry, its runs pretty small with the decision makers with the companies. Keeping good relationships is important, and burning bridges can never happen.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Moore Media?
We are a lean team in the content creation/social marketing world that works with brands that value quality over quantity.

Specializing in the outdoors market. Hunting, Fishing, Camping, Water Sports, Outdoors Recreation.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
Keep your eyes on the horizon and always invest in yourself. It’s easy to get distracted by work or clients that don’t have the same goals you do. At the end of the day, you need to be spending time on projects and brands that are alling with you and your brand’s plans.
