Hi Shannon, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
She Votes in a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that focuses on supporting young women in becoming registered and responsible voters.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No! It’s taken a lot of effort to build up the organization. After several years of hard work, we feel proud of how much we have grown.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
You have to meet people where they are at! Whether someone is a first-time voter or an avid follower of politics, everyone’s needs are different when it comes to supporting young women voters.
