Meet Lucienne Olson of Revival Training

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lucienne Olson. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Lucienne’s decisions as a young person led her to spend some time in the juvenile judicial system and become a single mother at 16 years old- to two amazing daughters. This is an important part of her story because she did not find health through experience as a student athlete but rather out of survival. Although that time of her life was the most stress filled, that was also the point that forced her to figure out who she was and adopt the tools to get there. Practicing yoga was her intro to the mind-body practice and from there quickly grew into strength training as an outlet and something positive to do with the people around her. It was not long before she found herself studying for a personal trainer exam and enrolling in yoga teacher training which allowed to bring the principles of both to the Revival clientele. She’s attained many certifications and skills along the way but her experiences have taught her the most. Lucienne successfully competed for 3 years as a bodybuilder and strongman athlete and have trained many clients to do the same. The major influences on who she is and what she does today include her grandmother (physiologist), grandfather (scientist), and mother (acupuncturist)- the way she views health is credited to them. Lucienne first found yoga a stress relieving technique and through my own self-work, she discovered a passion for how she could make health accessible to others. It started with physical fitness and quickly expanded to other areas of health. The major influences on who she is today includes her grandmother, grandfather, and mother. A psychologist (mind), a scientist (body), and an acupuncturist (energy/soul)- the way Lucienne views health is credited to them. Her mother always told her the name Lucienne means ‘bringer of light’ and thats the energy she tries to bring to every interaction.

It really is a story of one foot in front of the other and a great deal of faith. Revival has organically become much more than a business, but a community because we are all committed to growing together.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?

Like most, some of the life challenges Lucienne faced started in the beginning and out of her control. She lost a parent at a very young age and was raised in an abusive single parent household. After years of going in and out of juvenile detention centers she found herself pregnant at 16. This is when life had to change.
Every journey has a few bumps in the road but while it has been a climb, there has been so much personal development and change within it. To continue working on ourselves and the Revival brand we know that the risks and failures along the way are a necessary part of real growth. As you go along the journey you pick up various tools, strategies, and even people that offer different levels of support but most importantly you develop the mindset to keep building, keep growing.

We’ve been impressed with Revival Training , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We first meet clients where they are bridge the gap to provide the education and options that bring them into the highest quality of life. We make nutrition and exercise digestible and applicableby emphasizing balance, education, and sustainability. Even with the perfect workout program and the most tailored nutrition protocol, there is still one foundational piece missing- the mindset. We approach health with a holistic lens to elicit growth, mind, body and soul. Our main goal is to meet our clients where they are at and that starts with offering a full scale of training with everything from private one on one, small group, large group classes, to fully online programs. We have options that allow for training to fit seamlessly with your real life responsibilities and commitments.

We are most proud of our ability to truly meet people where they are through coaching and provide real education and tools to change the way they live and see life. We work with individuals with weight loss, muscle building, and body composition but we also work with the person that needs a community or the environment that supports their holistic health.
