Today we’d like to introduce you to Kori Wyffels.
Hi Kori, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey started at a metaphysical shop in Dallas, Texas. I had heard about aura photography and thought it would be cool to see what my aura looked like and went to get my photo taken. The photo takes time to process and is similar to a Polaroid picture and when it’s done the photographer will tell you what all the colors mean. My photo had a lot of green healing energy and purple psychic energy the shop lady pointed out to me. When she said, “Do you know you are psychic?” I said ‘I had no idea.’ I decided then to start taking the psychic development class they offered at their store and soon I was taking many more classes and participating in events.
During a reading at a psychic fair, with my then instructor she told me I would be reading full-time, teaching classes and possibly writing a book. I laughed at first because I didn’t see myself ever leaving the corporate world and being able to make enough money to support myself. I continued to strengthen my psychic abilities by giving readings to friends who would comment on my accuracy. I was encouraged by friends to apply to be a reader at the shop’s monthly psychic fair. I applied and after a sample reading was accepted to work. From there I started up my online business and soon was reading for clients worldwide. I had no idea it would be more than a fun side hustle when I started but here I am fully self-employed and choosing my own work schedule.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Working with spirit guides, and the spirits of loved ones is not always easy. Sometimes, it’s hard to connect, as not all departed loved ones wish to communicate. Just like us they decide who they speak to and spend time with. I like to tell my clients its like going to the customer service desk, and asking them to page the person they are shopping with to meet them there. I can page them for you, but if they are in the back of the store and don’t want to stop shopping, I can’t force them to come to meet you.
Being a messenger for spirit, I communicate with my clients what I am hearing or receiving for them, it’s not always what they want to hear, but sometimes, it’s what they need to hear. I prefer to give the news as nicely and gently as possible to make sure you leave feeling good about how to move forward, even if it’s not the way you hoped it would be.
I have occasionally had clients come back and tell me they didn’t take my advice and regretted their decision. We all have free will so we can make our own choices we want to make, I know from my own experience your guides and loved ones will not steer you wrong as they have your best interest at heart. They can see the path ahead that we can’t always see for ourselves, trusting their guidance and your gut instinct almost always pays off in the end.

I am an intuitive channeler, oracle card reader, energy healer, and spiritual life coach. My work can be diverse each day. Most of my clients come to me for readings on situations they need guidance within their life. I offer energy healing services like reiki and chakra balancing. My Chakra Balancing sessions are quite popular, and love helping someone bring balance and peace back into their life.
I recently launched a new coaching program with my spiritual life coaching practice called ‘release your inner goddess’. I designed this program to guide you on your path to living a life that you truly love. My program helps you to find and connect with the god/goddess within you by guiding you to recognize your value and worth and learn to love and embrace all aspects of yourself. It’s a journey of self-discovery and self-love. It’s a program customized and tailored to each client’s needs.
Probably my favorite part of my business is my online live feed readings, events and social media posts. I am a trance channel which is someone that goes into a trance like state and allows a high vibrational being to connect to their energy to speak through them. I love getting to channel deities like Buddha and Ganesha along with many spirit guides and healers. Many people who watch get a lot of insight from these messages, as they help to share how we as a collective are changing the energies and the vibrations of the planet, as well as what we can be focusing on in our own lives to help us learn, grow and heal ourselves.
I am big on empowering my clients to see that they can create their world or universe in a way that works for them. We all have free will to choose to live life how we see fit. As long as we are not hurting anyone or hurting ourselves, we should feel empowered to make the choices that most align with us and our needs.
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
One of my favorite spirits I get to connect with is Minneapolis native, Prince aka the artist. When he first introduced himself to me, I was having a video chat with a friend who is also psychic and felt a presence in the room with me. (It was early in my journey so I wasn’t sure who was with me at the time.) She told me it was Prince and that he had been trying to connect with me. I had a slight Wayne’s World movie moment like Wayne and Garth not feeling worthy to meet Alice Cooper.
He proceeded to explain how we are connected spiritually and have had many past lifetimes together. It has been so much fun working with him as he is quite the jokester and always wants to help whoever he works with become a better version of themselves. He is huge on female empowerment and knowing your value and worth and using them to your advantage.
Prince and I are currently working on creating a deck of oracle cards based on his life and music. For those who know him, he has a thing for the number 7, so this card deck has 52 cards which numerology wise equal 7. He jokes that he chose 52 cards so he can play 52 cards pick up when giving readings.
I am also working on some guided meditations with him that include original music, which I will be sharing on my podcast ‘Spiritual musings of an awakened mind’ and on my YouTube channel in 2023.
