

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew Rasmussen.
Hi Andrew, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
We purchased the building the same day Governor Walz closed all the restaurants in MN March 16th, 2020. We opened during the Covid shut down when we were only able to have 50% capacity. The following year we won Best BBQ in the State reader’s choice Star Tribune. We have since won awards for the best beer and best catering in the Northfield Area. In Sept. 2021 Lisa Rasmussen (owner) was diagnosed with brain cancer. She has been fighting since then completing Radiation and chemotherapy. There has been no growth in the cancer cells since it has been found. We have been struggling (like most in the industry) with staffing and turnover. We are FINALLY back in a great place! We specialize in high-end beer, bourbons, soups, and featured specials, along with high-end BBQ!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Owner, Andrew Rasmussen, has over 20 years of restaurant experience and is a French-trained chef. We have over 75+ high-end craft beers. The majority of which are from MN. We also specialize in smoked cocktails, old fashioneds, manhattans, and bourbons. We are VERY well known for our creative burger specials, wings, beer, bourbon, and friendly staff.
What’s next?
We recently purchased another bar in town. We look forward to where that takes us. We also have another HUGE announcement which we are not ready to divulge yet.
