Today we’d like to introduce you to Amy Gregg.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
We’ve seen the devastation that can happen when a person’s health (mental, physical, emotional, spiritual, etc.) is negatively impacted. People we know tried to end their lives because they couldn’t see beyond the brokenness.
I spent every minute I could outside from a very young age and that love for nature and animals became a safe space for me when life became more and more dysfunctional as I continued to grow up. Caleb had a similar experience. When everything was unpredictable around us as kids, we could escape to nature and animals. They quite literally saved our lives.
We’ve often talked about how if only everyone could experience the unconditional love of an animal and the healing nature can bring, this world would be a better place. This has been something we’ve been passionate about because we’ve personally experienced it and witnessed it in so many other people.
We saw a massive trend happening, since 2020. People started to get outdoors more! One of the best things you can do when you’re struggling mentally is to get outside more. HOW COOL!
But there was a problem and we experienced it. When we wanted to try something new in the outdoor space and would go look it up, all the marketing stats and words were geared towards those that have done it before. We were new to this experience. That was a HUGE barrier! There are so many amazing opportunities out there that can positively impact a person, but it almost feels like the only way to experience them is to know someone else that has done it before. It shouldn’t be that way!
We want to help. We know the positive impact nature and the outdoors have made on our lives and on the lives of those around us. We want to create a better future for our children and pass on our love for nature and animals to them. We have so many things we are passionate about when it comes to this, so we are set to do it!
Caleb officially quit his job in corporate America, got his drone pilot’s license, and went full-time in our business. It was a huge leap that we’ve been wanting to take for years. We officially rebranded from Amy Gregg Photography to Gregg Media. As a couple, we are pouring into the commercial brand space with a focus on the outdoor industry and it gets us so excited to jump out of bed in the morning.
We’ve already gotten to work alongside some of the most amazing people that are positively impacting this world for the better and it has been the most incredible experience for us! We are looking forward to helping many more incredible people reach their goals and impact the world one photo and video at a time.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
When we first started into brand photography, we offered a fairly cookie-cutter approach to our clients and quickly realized it wasn’t serving our clients as well as it could. Small brands and big brands have very different needs and within each of those brands, the needs are very specific to the goals that the client has.
Now we have systems in place to keep everything streamlined and consistent, while also customizing each project to fit the needs of the client. This has been a game changer for our clients. We have a planning process that helps us all get very specific on the goals the client is wanting to reach and what we can do to help them reach those goals. We often have clients say that the planning process is invaluable to them. We can confidently serve both big and small brands in a way that brings them both a ton of value and helps them reach the goals they have in their businesses.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
We both have always loved nature, animals, and adventure. We also both have always had very creative minds.
I had a camera in my hand from as young as I can remember and I’ve always loved organization, learning, growing, and perfecting my art. I have also had to overcome some pretty challenging things as a child, from a diagnosis with a 3-month life expectancy to some pretty bad accidents that required surgeries and intense rehab. Learning to navigate all of these and not let them hold me back, helped me develop a growth mindset and never settle for mediocrity.
Caleb grew his love for photography and videography from a young age as well and loved to challenge and push himself to new heights. From a young age, he would dive 100% into whatever challenge he had in front of him, which made him extremely talented in many different areas. From show jumping horses and being a talented musician to riding bulls and shooting guns, he was always perfecting his skills.
All of these parts of who we are have been amazing assets in our business. We also have very complimentary personalities and work together so well, which makes what we offer so valuable to our clients. They can trust that when they hire us, we will work together seamlessly and create a super fun, stress-free session for them.
