Today we’d like to introduce you to Danny Heath and Ally Grabianowski. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Danny Heath is the Owner, Founder, Head Coach, and Chief Executive Officer of Game 7 Industries.
Danny went to Minnesota State University, Mankato, and played Division 1 hockey for MSU. When Danny graduated he knew he wanted to continue to be involved with the game of hockey. Then an opportunity presented itself to coach a summer camp with a local hockey association, Danny took that opportunity to coach the summer camp and that was the first Game 7 Industries camp.
Game 7 Industries started out in 2017 by only doing that one summer camp in Mankato, MN. Now we are hosting hockey camps year around in a variety of different cities across the U.S. We also recently started the AAA summer hockey program and we will be hosting two hockey tournaments in 2023. Ally Grabianowski is a Head Coach and the Chief Marketing Officer for Game 7 Industries. Ally is from Mankato, MN, and Ally was thrilled when Danny asked her to work for Game 7 Industries as she has always had a passion for hockey and coaching.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Starting a business is never easy but we have been really fortunate to have a great local community and many other hockey coaches to support us.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Game 7 Industries is a hockey development program based out of Southern Minnesota. We pride ourselves on helping athletes achieve their goals at any skill level and age. At Game 7 camps and tournaments, we create a competitive, safe, and productive environment to assist our athletes in reaching the next level of play.
Our coaching staff is highly experienced and is eager to share their knowledge with all athletes focusing on their skills, but not forgetting about the importance of good sportsmanship, character building, and hard work. We strive to have a low coach-to-player ratio so there is no player left behind. We always put our players first and always want to ensure they have a good experience and are learning and developing their skills. We strive to keep our camps and tournaments affordable. Our #1 goal is to leave the game of hockey better than we found it.
What do you think about luck?
We have been really fortunate to be able to meet, collaborate, and host camps with some really great hockey coaches from different hockey organizations around the U.S. as well as some great local coaches.
We have also been very fortunate to have a great community to support us.
