Hi Destiny, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my business a little over 2 years ago.
I quit my full-time job as a dog groomer to pursue a career I enjoy and to be able to pick my own hours. I have 2 sons and a grandson that motivate me to be the best version of myself and to inspire others to do what they love. I found I love teaching and sharing knowledge with others and I hope to help many other inspired artists achieve their dreams and goals!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
I had no idea where to start so one day I took the leap. I started in my living room and can now say I’ve moved into 3 different locations.
Each location, new inspections meetings, etc. I also handle not only clients but book work, and social media running a business, in general. It has been a learning experience when it comes to running a business but I wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s tough work but that’s what makes it worth it! It’s rewarding in many ways! I co-tinge to learn and grow each and every day.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a licensed permanent makeup artist, lash technician, and lash instructor, and I also provide needleless lip fillers and Saline Tattoo Removal.
I am always up to date with licensing, education, and new techniques and eager to learn more! I share my knowledge with clients and make sure I am more than thorough. I strive to make each client feel comfortable and confident during any and all services.
We all have different ways of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
To me, success is to do what you love while being open-minded to change and growth. Always striving for better and sharing it with others around.
Being in a place in your life where you can say you’re happy and couldn’t ask for more, not money or material things, yet the finer things in life. Family, a job you truly enjoy, and a place to call home.
